Do I have the enough budget to get started in CPA?

Hi everyone,

this is my first post, I always wanted to ask this question to a group of people who are making money from CPA marketing
I was interested in this market for a long long long time, but the only thing I was doing is reading and keep reading, but not taking any actions.

because, unfortunately, I'm struggling with my budget
I've exactly 800$ dollars ready to invest

But honestly, I'm not sure if it's gonna work out with this amount, some professional marketers in CPA were saying you must start with at least 1500$-1200$ budget and some of them were saying 200$ is the minimum amount, so I got confused!
However, I think it depends on the method and the strategy that the marketer will use.

ok, let's say with my 800$ dollars I'll buy a new domain name + connect it with a hosting from voluum.com so now I'll have my tracking software too + then buy Thrive Theme to create my own landing pages + then use Social Ad Ninja to spy on my competitors.

Now let's calculate the costing

-the domain, for example, is for 20$
-voluum.com 99$
-social ad ninja 147$
-thrive theme 67$

(my budget) 800 - 20 - 99 - 147 - 67 = 467$

plus: I will test my campaign so it will probably cost about 200$

200 - 467 = 267$

Is it enough to promote the campaign for a whole month guys?

Sorry if this looks silly or dumb question to you but any advices or sharing experiences will help me and other people a lot ...

I just want to start in CPA I had enough reading e-books and attending courses !

Two things you didn't mention was what niche you are working with and what ad network you are going to be using. Those are two of the main factors that determine what sort of starting budget you can work with.

Thank you for your response cooler1

The niches are gaming, beauty, mobile apps, and finance.
      for E-mail submits offers.
the traffic source will be Facebook ads.

can you tell me how much budget I need for each one of these niches?

Marketers may say anything but it totally depend on the niche you are working on. Some niches may need $1500 for start but some other needs only $50. And also running a campaign just on the basis of bookish knowledge is not enough you must try running some tests first. See how you are doing.

      You're 100% right, bookish knowledge isn't enough
because I believe 85% of experts knowledge are from their own experiences and the rest 15% is from books, courses, and basic information.

I'll appreciate if you could give me an example of a niche that needs 1500$ and the one that needs 50$ to start with

$800 is on the low side for paid traffic..
it will be enough to get started, but maybe not enough to find success

I'm glad to hear from you ChrisBa! I've been seeing you in almost every thread about CPA! just wow, you're a big supporter and I respect people like you.

but literally your post made me feel REALLY SAD & UPSET
because I'm 18 and I've been dreaming about this since I was 14, I was discovering and still discovering a lot about CPA marketing, and last year when I was 17 finally I got a job! I was so happy so worked hard a day all night, and my budget is pretty much what I came out with it.
and now I can't believe I have to work again, and this's if I was lucky to find new job ...

but I still can't understand why you said I can't find success even though my budget is enough to get started, if I'm going to make some money even if it wasn't that much at the beginning then I already promised myself that I'll re-invest my budget again and again, so by doing this my budget will grow more and I'll gain experiences, right?

I'm just not going to give up & quit so easy at this point after all that I've been through to get involved in this field.

Sorry, i'm not trying to be a dream killer, I just want to help set expectations..

If you're good with your money, you might be able to make a dent.. If you're looking at paid traffic, I would also try starting a few "free" traffic ventures at the same time to help make some money to fund the paid traffic..

As you said you are going to be promoting email submit offers, $800 is a big enough budget because the required testing budget for email submits is lower than for CPS offers that require a sale to convert.

Are you following any course or blueprint for FB ads? I ask this because FB ads can be expensive, so it can be difficult to profit with email submits unless you can get a low CPC.

I think,It totally depends on what will be your promotion method. It also depends on how much works you will done yourself and how much you will outsource.

    Everything depends on proper planning.

    Go ahead,Good Luck

You don't need Volumn for a start. There are free trackers like prosper202. As for social ad ninja, you should only get it if you are absolutely bent on using Facebook. Nowadays, it is very difficult to get below 0.15 per click unless you target broad and have an eye-catching ad. Personally, I have not had a single conversion with Facebook after a few hundreds. I have had more success with PPV and mobile display, albeit still at a big loss. The only success I have had is with PPC.
