Why my Adsense Earning Still So Low

I am just a newbie in making decent figures online and still stumbling upon this and that. I created a tech blog (Cyber Pursuit | Tracking The Technology) and linked it to Adsense ads. I also did what i have to do from SEO optimized articles, keyword research, +500 words unique content, site and page description, backlinks etc. However, i still have incredibly low Adsense earnings per click, as low as $0.02. Although I am having +2000 page views a day and mostly US visitors who clicks on my ads but the adsense earnings never went higher than that. Is there any solution to increase them earnings? or shall i try any other ad network in parallel with Adsense?

CPC depends on the country from which your traffic is, topic of your website/niche.

I am residing in Tunisia but most of the traffic is coming from USA, Tunisia a little less and other countries. Thank you!

Go to Google keyword planner, look up the keywords you're ranking for, people are finding your site for... You're going to see what Google says the average bid is. You could be below that. And, on top of that, you get a part of that...

At one point, Google was saying you get 66% of whatever the person who's paying for the ad was paying Google. In real life, I was getting some 35%, as far as I could tell.

They were bidding, average, $3-5 dollars. I was getting 1.5-1.9 dollars usually and, at times, 0.75-1.00.

But, if the bid on your keyword is 7 cents, how are you going to get a lot of money?

Although I did use google keyword planner and searched for the right high paying keywords with which to write my articles, but i noticed that most of the clicks are coming from Tunisia. I even copied those keywords and pasted in the search description box (in the new post page). I am a rookie and i believe im screwing up things at times. I did not know that Google pays as low as roughly 35% or so for bids. I also think that clicks coming from arabic and african countries are much lesser than USA,Canada, UK and so on... Thank you for your reply DABK, that was as informative and useful as i needed.

I think tech sites are not such a hot niche as it mainly targets men comparing to health and fitness, money making and other business niches. As for bids, i think tech sites still get good bids but the competition is too high. I'm thinking t shift to another niche. Thank you coil101!

You're certainly going about it the wrong way.

Your landing page is good but you need to focus on better keywords with higher CPC. Rank the keywords and get lots of targeted traffic to your site.

Another thing you need to do is improve your ads placement and position.

    It's quite easy but tactical.

What you're saying make alot of sense. when i first started out blogging, i was simple jotting down my thoughts and ideas and shape them into articles without knowing about the seo optimization techniques nor Google keywords. it is recently when i started producing keyword targeted articles but i still did not see the outcome yet. For instance i see now 0.01$ on my adsense dashboard and the click is a 100% from USA. And yes i do need to resize the ads. i m just applying big sizes thinking the bigger the better to be seen lol, a rookie cant be blamed. thanks alot John! cool advice cheers.

If I remember correctly, at one point, Google was saying that its standard ad of 336 pixels (don't remember the other side) did best. And ads without margins did better than ones with margins (borders, I mean).

Also, pay attention where you place the ads.

Visit this page) (http://conversionxl.com/19-things-we...heatmap-tests/, read it carefully, then, look at the bottom, where they give you heatmap tools (some free).

I am currently applying the responsive ads, 728x90, 336x280 as well as 300x600. I modified the title and URL colors of the ads and altered the background to white (same as my blog's) in order for the ads to blend with the content. Im going to remove the margin too. Would you please paste the page URL i need to check it out. Thanks alot DABK!

19 Things We Can Learn From Numerous Heatmap Tests

If you run a wordpress site, there are plugins for heatmaps.

Generally, people read a website in an F-pattern. That means you should put all your important stuff along the top of your page and along the left side and a little, half-page wide line at the bottom of the above-the-fold part. (If you're writing in a language where people read left to right. If you're writing in a language where people read right to left, reverse... the right side of your page is more important than the left).

I have been placing ads on the very top of my blog, right side and in the middle. i have missed putting ads right after the title. I also did not use link ads till now. im writing in English as it is a universal language rather than writing in Arabic just for arabic countries (which usually results in very low CPC).very cool tips, you've been truly helpful. And thank you for the link.

I ran a search on that and found a list of low-paying companies, i copied and pasted the full list on that URL box (Advertiser URLs) to be blocked. i also blocked some general and sensitive categories which were giving 0% ad impression. I hope im not doing anything wrong so far. thank you ConTaDor.

      For starters, don't spam forums.
Then, participate in forums people looking for education visit. Participate does not mean do what you did here, by the way.
Then, fix your site. Here's the first paragraph from your home page:
"Belhaven Lincoln ("Belhaven" or "BU") is a close Christian adult discipline lincoln set in Vocaliser, River. Supported by Dr. Lewis Fitzhugh and later donated to the Protestant Religion in the Amalgamated States, the schoolhouse has been independently run by a People of Trustees since 1972. Belhaven is accredited by the Grey Association of Colleges and Schools to grant Cogitate, Degree, and Skipper's Degrees. Twenty-seven Live's Degrees and cardinal Employer's Degrees are offered. In gain to conventional majors, programs of statesman studies are free. There are also pre-professional programs in Religion Ministry, Punishment, Odontology, Law, and Nursing."

Why, on earth, would anyone be persuaded to do anything by this? By the way, what's a Degree Degree? I cogitate all the times, not well, but I do it. Can I get a Cogitate Degree Degree with 27 Lives in it?

Try alternative like infolinks. However, the key is to find a profitable niche and build websites for it with lots of contents and useful facts. Tech sites don't convert well anymore.

it based on which country of your click. If it from Philippine or some SEA country or Africa you cant get more money. But if it come from US or Europe you will get higher. Besides that, you need to improve your website so that customer can find out yours on search engine. You can also check your website pages view, bounce rate, time on site...to know what people need from your site. Sometimes I use Site rank, website ranking checker, check website ranking history to check these information and find more interesting fields for my next adsense website

CPC depends on the niche . competition and other stuffs. Tech and software related keywords has pretty low CPC. That is the truth and u cannot do nothing much about it than to generate more traffic and optimize.

it indeed is strange that your traffic mostly comes from USA
But is it also those that actually click?
Like said before maybe try different ad companys ? like ex. InfoLinks ?
