Prosper 202: Filtered out clicks?

I'm running a campaign with Media Traffic and Direct CPV. Media traffic is going fine, but all my clicks from DirectCPV show up as "filtered out clicks" in Prosper's "Spy View" and they don't register in my Neverblue stats. What are filtered out clicks anyway?

Take a closer look and you will see those filtered out clicks have the same IP address. Prosper202 will filter out hits from the same IP address if they occur within a 24 hour window.

Also, take a closer look at those filtered out clicks. Do they have a referrer URL? If they do, are they in your offers vertical category? I bet not.

I started having this problem with a certain (name withheld for now) CPV network a few days ago.

I have emailed my AM but those are coming back as undeliverable. I called and got voicemail. So far, I have yet to receive an explanation.

I'm leaning towards "Click-fraud" as the cause.

    Regards,

    John

Is it DirectCPV by any chance? Yes they have referrers from other places not related to the vertical. So click fraud huh? What to do? Drop the network?

I too would like to know which network your referring to as I am looking to expand beyond MT and don't want to waste time with poor customer service and click fraud issues.

I realize you don't want to say here so just pm me please if you don't mind.

I greatly appreciate it and thanks in advance.

I guess what I don't understand is even if it's click fraud of some sort, wouldn't those clicks show up in the CPA network stats?

Your CPA network won't record multiple clicks from the same IP, that is why you are seeing the clicks in prosper but not your network.
