CPM Network Impressions Count

Hello,

I'm trying to understand what a website impression is.

I'm thinking of building a website for a CPM income only.

Am I correct in thinking a impression is everytime a click happens on my website when an ad is view able?

For instance if I had 5 pictures in a thumbnail with an CPM ad below it, someone clicks through all 5 I would get 5 impressions towards my payment of every 1000?

Thanks

cpm impressions count every banner cpm displayed when visitor come to your site or when a visitor do a click anywhere in your page for popunder cpm ads.

Sounds like the answer you got left you with more questions than a resolution. But to clarify...impression is basically when someone is presented with an ad, image etc...
    NOT when someone clicks.
If someone is scrolling through an article and there's a banner ad along the way, that's an impression. If the same person goes to another article on the same site and scrolls past another banner that's an additional impression.

CPM stands for cost per mile, which means the cost of having it viewed a thousand times.

Every time a web page opens an impression counts. so to make good profit your website must be visited by many visitors. networks filter unique visitors and usually set frequency cap like 1/24. 1 unique visitor per 24 hours.
