Where do you host your tracking?

I'm using Tracking202 and thinking of moving over to Prosper202. I'll probably get a specific domain for this, but should I get a new hosting account as well? Or is it generally safe practice to keep it on the same hosting plan as all your landing pages?

It's really up to you. If you are doing tons of tracking you will eventually need a dedicated server.

That's right.. It's for your own security too.. there are many servers that can be easily hacked so be sure to choose wisely..

Prosper is a lot easier to use and is overall more efficient, IMO. You don't need a separate hosting account for it. I actually have it on the same domain that I use for my rotator scripts, and both of them work just fine. I'm with Hostgator, but I imagine it would be the same for other providers too.

What's considered as "tons of tracking?"

I think at this point I'll just use my shared hosting and consider a dedicated server when my cash flow can actually justify it. Thanks guys!
