The best way is to learn yourself from free forums and blogs...Some coaching's are good but there is so much info for a newbie that He can distracted by it....

No, but get more feedback before you join any coaching. I think he himself will say that his coaching style suits some, and does not suit others.

I was a member of PPC-Coach. I can tell you that Will (the owner) is very helpful and that the PPC-Coach community in general is also very helpful.

A lot of transparency there. Members are more willing to share their "secrets and strategies" which IMO makes it worth the money.

I have since shifted my focus away from from ppc which is why I am longer a member.

But it is very helpful...especially to a newbie!

    Hi
    Without trying to be negative
a lot of the basic coaching tecniques I have seen or read up on all seem to come back to the same basic steps
    forum sig
    article
    blogging
    aswer questions on yahoo
    etc etc

as mentine above a lot of this you probably already know and can find free on this or other forums.

I have been looking for a step by step guide for ages.

    problem is
each method has a step by step guide and I end up trying them all and getting small response because not focussing on one at a time

    so my advise is
    pick a method (just one!!!)

and stick with it for a month doing something 'everyday' that potentially earns money
    ie 3 forum postings
    or
    3 articles
    or
    3 blog psoting etc

    you get the idea

    Good point Danny,

I literally have a calendar that goes out 2 months. For my current campaigns, I can tell you exactly what I am doing for each of these methods on the third Wednesday of next month. Its this planning or possibly my ocd that enables me to actually get stuff done. People will try a craigslist campaign and post 4 ads the first day, 2 the second and thats it and then complain that craigslist doesnt work.

Try doing 4 ads per day for 30 days. Then let me know if your method works or not!

as a starter you should just get free content from blogs , then when you get a little understanding you can move on to ppc coach and others.

    Hello,

I'm a member of PPC coach and I personally love it. Great no nonsense approach. Advice from coach is excellent. The other great thing is amazing community of other members. The forums very open and active. Thing that struck me straight away after joining were the number of success stories.

Sure, there are other places to learn too but I find IM courses very hit or miss - same thing over and over again. PPC coach teaches and encourages out of the box thinking which really sets it in a league of its own. It does start form the basics but I wouldn't say it's for the absolute newbie. However, if you've already designed a few websites, have access to some decent webdesign software and have already had a dabble in PPC then go get it.

    Cheers,

    Andy

yes you can make a whole lot more if you're a publisher but you can also make a fortune as an affiliate.

I'd happily take $50 return on every $100 spent.

there are countless products that aren't about 'make money' products and even more products that aren't informational products.

That comment doesn't make any sense. As a publisher you would want to leverage your affiliates and have them promote your product as much as possible but that shouldn't stop a publisher from using ppc themselves. If you're getting a return on your investment then why wouldn't you spend money and scale up your campaigns?

It sounds like you're saying you can't make money from PPC so you should just let your affiliates spend/burn their money. If that's the case a publisher would want to be making lots of books/products because people aren't going to throw good money after bad if a product isn't converting.

You do what you want but if you want my opinion, I'd stay (and I do) FAR away from PPC unless you are publishing your own stuff and your affiliates will be spending the money for the ads. If you are paying for the ads, PPC is not the way to go.
Main benefit of PPC is the degree to which it is scaleable. Spend $100 to make $150 then scale to spend $10 000 a day and make $5000 a day proft. Can't think of any other methods that are so immensly scaleable so quickly.

Profits for product sellers are clearly higher per transaction but so is the hastle. Also much more difficult to diversify.

I meant to say that I could not recommend it as I have not been a member, but I have tried out a couple of his other coaching programs. Did not mean to say I did not recommend it.

All the info available on there is available for free on a few different forums around the net. I suggest finding someone to team up with 2 or 3 people trading ideas and testing stuff. The thing about stuff like ppc coach is that it is an extension of the rest of life, people outlining and telling you what to do like a teacher or a boss. That's the lazy way to learn and always will limit you vs. doing what it takes to figure it out yourself. See you learn sooooo much more if you try 50 things and 1 thing works. Now you've acquired all the knowledge from all those failed attempts and they will serve you later on. All this stuff is about learning and creativitiy both of which come from reading and doing. I suggest not taking the easy path cause then you'll be stuck on it and the real money is down a totally different road.

    Just my 3 cents!

I would definitely check out: Affiliit . com (yeah that's how you spell it)

They're new but and awesome coaching site so far. There are a ton of great people there. They cover both PPC and free traffic methods.

I've been a member of PPC Coach. It was good and I learned a lot the first month. However, IMO I think overall Affiliit is the better coaching site.

      Hope that helps.

but, it's not about coaching or not, it's about your own dedication to this business, soon you will find your own winning formula without anyone coaching you

    Yukinara, you are exactly right.

I would say, do not join any coaching program unless you are prepared to use it and work your arse off.

I have made this mistake before and will never do it again.

Live and learn. This old addage also applies to internet marketing.

I couldn't recommend someone for you sorry, although I believe that PPC is one of the best ways to provide good traffic on your site, specially when it is mixed with different strategies such as SEO and SERM.

Not quite. While we do tell them what to do, we also encourage them to experiment and try different things. Having someone help along the way is not a bad thing and if you're under the impression that you can be lazy and succeed with my program, you're wrong. The only people who succeed are the ones who work their asses off.

I take that as a compliment. Two of my ex moderators started that site and there's a lot of ex ppc coach members there too. I've heard it's great for learning seo, but they wouldn't let me in. (I even paid for a subscription!)

      No biggie.

That is great advice above. Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. You can read all you want about how to do things but if you don't take action, you'll never succeed.
