Have Been banned From Google Adwords Yet

It seems Serge and Larry are having a bad case of PMS this month. Thousands of advertisers, big and small, have been getting the dreaded "Banned for Life from Adwords" email the last week or so.

Oh well........just thought I'd ask

ATTENTION FTC:

Full Disclosure: I currently have not received the dreaded email yet, but since I hardly use adwords anymore, its not going to ruin my day if I do get it.

... Besides its really very easy to open a new account if you need to.

You can check out these other threads if you like........

Here ................ and Here

Peace

they're banning ppl left and right.... get ready for it. its just a matter of time... and they're going nuts with content network and weight loss.... they're not allowing nutraceuticals on content network now...

can't wait for everyone to 'revolt' against G..... theres no reason they should treat their customers like crap. in any other business they'd be finished.

Blame Aaron Wall For this. When the FTC first announced they were going after bloggers, he wrote this article.

A broad sweep of Adwords Accounts is how Google responded.

The people who are making fake sites are doing so because they are paid to. And amoral ad networks that syndicate ads based on *maximizing yield efficiency* (like Google AdWords) are designed to syndicate fraud because it is easy for advertisers to pay a lot for ads when their profit margins are nearly 100% because they scam people.

I couldn't care if Adwords banned me, i stopped using it. Its immoral how they drive the PPC up drastically when they work out what your campaign is about

And to think adwords makes up about 80% of Google's profits (at least it used to be that)
Seems they are leaning more and more towards the branded sites on a daily basis.

Actually adwords is more like 95% of their profits, (about $4 billion I think?).

However the thing is they're doing this because they want to protect their cash cow. Bad apples ALWAYS ruin it for legit people ALWAYS. You can blame the idiots running crap that google never liked for this recent round of banning. Now even if you stopped running something after a warning, you're gone. Even if you haven't ran it in months, you're gone. They're not assuming you won't do it again now, they're assuming you WILL do it again.

The thing is they make the majority of their money from small/large and corporate business. Contrary to popular belief affiliates are a small and to them "annoying" minority. So well anyone who got banned has every right to be uspet, it's not the end of the world. In fact, you'll probably end up doing even better with affiliate marketing without them. You'll be forced to use higher ROI ppc engines and that's a good thing.

Same story here, got the message on Thursday, and finally got an answer back today from my "appeal". I told them that I was more than willing to make any changes they wanted me to, even though I was only able to run my ads a couple of days a month, (micro budget) and I still get banned. Seriously, since Feb 09, my campaigns have ran for a total of 21 days.

So, there's no chance of getting my account re-activated, at all, is there? I know there are other tools out there, I just have no idea why I was banned in the first place. Not to mention that I was just about to launch a new campaign that has been in the works for several weeks. But even if I opened another account with new info, I only have the one method of pre-payment, and I doubt they'd let that remaind open for very long. Or does anyone know if Pre-pay is processed diffrent than post-pay?

    Any information would be great...
    Thanks.
