CPA Networks and Lead Scrubbing...

I read a post on a this blog about incentaclick (CX Digital) scrubbing leads, I know that networks do this all the time, how often and why is still unknown to me but I was really disappointed to hear that there was massive fraud going on at this network, I had been working with an account rep that seemed very interested in helping me out but this is tough when you hear this goes on and there's proof of it apparently.

Has any of you had this experience and which networks did this happen on, I'd like to get a nice list of networks that are well known for this practice so I can stay clear of them.

Thanks.

You cannot really put individual networks at fault for this practice, probably every one of them does it at some point or another. And they have their reasons, especially when it is promoting email submits.

But you can work with the ones less infamous for that - A4D, C2M, EWA...these are some good, trusted networks.

EVERY network scrubs leads. They scrub email and zip-submits the most because those have the most fraud associated with them.

The higher payouts and CC submits get scrubbed a lot less and for good reason. The more info that is required from the user the less likely there is fraud involved. That is not to say that there aren't stolen CC rings and all that but usually there is a lot less fraud than with email and zip submits.

It's a part of the business so just factor it into to your bottom line. Kinda like taxes ;-)

That's what I'm figuring right now, I've read about them scrubbing in instances where double leads are generated or fraudulent leads, so you guys are saying they'll scrub the for other reasons as well? Namely, pocketing the money themselves.

Thanks Tahiti Joe, I guess it's one more thing to factor in. I was just about to start a campaign for an email submit offer, it would be good if I can find the same offer on two different networks to see which one scrubs the most

That's why it is ALWAYS a good idea to rotate offers between networks...Never put all your eggs in one basket!!
