Has anyone make significant money on direct linking to CPA offers?
 

Hi Everyone,

I have started learning CPA marketing since last August and actually started testing out in mid Nov while taking part in PublisherChallenge affiliate competition. I've managed to win as a new affiliate signup in the competition and my main strategy is using direct linking in 2nd tier PPC search engine like 7search and Looksmart. Initially, I did make consistent profits of about $7 USD for about consecutive 10 days for all the campaigns I created and I was pretty excited about it as I thought if I can consistently make it for 1 month, I will make a 200 plus dollar profits. However, I do not know what had happened and the leads were reduced significantly which in the end made a lost.

I was thinking whether is it still profitable to make significant money through direct linking to CPA offers from 2nd tier network? Has anyone make big profits through direct linking or should a simple landing page be created?

Thinking of starting direct linking with PPV traffic, has anyone make profits on tat area too?

yes, but generally these days landing pages can help you do so much better

I don't really know what is 2nd tier network, but I did make quite huge amount of money within 2 weeks (4 figure amount), using cpv method. Direct linking of course, since I am quite new to the cpv method and the cpa industry. I meant I read a lot about it but I never actually do anything to monetize it until early of January this year.

It really depends on what kind of offers you are doing with the direct linking method. You need to track everything down the the keyword level too, and you need to test everything out at the same time. Without tracking and testing, it's hard to make things work.

Another thing that I've learned in a private paid ppv coaching forum was, diversifying your offers. Don't just promote one offer and hoping to make 4 figure income per day with that single offer/campaign.

Direct linking is not easy anymore unless you go to second and third tier engines which generally have far less traffic. A ogod idea would be to try and create a squeeze page so you can at least keep leads for yourself on top of the front end commissions.

As per the previous post, yes, you need to diversify your offers. Most people doing 4 figures a day are doing so from a combination of multiple offers that do good not great. That is probably one of the biggst lessons that I learned. Instead of trying to create one massively profitable campaign, why not create a bunch of good campaigns which when combined, add up to a massive income. Its a diff approach but seems a lot easier to accomplish in my opinions.

Point of a LP is to make the buyer want to buy the product, though the advertisers LP's may do that, offers always convert better with a custom, better designed LP.

I agree on what Kenster has to say here. Instead of trying to make $100 using only 1 campaign, why not trying to do that with 10 campaigns, which is making around $10 per campaign ? That's a lot more easier.... Of course, it has it cons too. That is the testing part. Normally, we would have to test things out initially, and that's where we might lose money while testing offers out..

Glad to see AidenChong has already made a 4 figure income through PPV. My goal this year is to create a 4 figure monthly income online through CPA. Currently, I'm still making a lost through PPC from 2nd tier network. Still figuring things out as previously tried Google and Yahoo, didn't see much rebate back from direct linking but keep on paying. Therefore, thinking of going with PPV.

AidenChong, may I know normally what offers you try direct linking to? is it a zip/email offers that pay $1.5 or a $40 plus dollar offer that fill up alot of forms?


Jared, normally is your LP a silo site or a full blown website? Or is it just a squeeze page capturing their details and email them offers while building relationship with the list?

Do bear with my quoting as I seldom use forum and dun really know how to quote those words written by previous person.

Landing pages are what are best. Make a simple pre-sell page. That should help conversions.

Hi there Javier,

Thanks for your words. If you are serious about using ppv to promote CPA offers, you better study it up before starting to pour any money into any ad networks. Because, like what you've said, not every single offer will work with the cpv method. Better off to get some understanding before you even start to put money into it, and have someone or a group of people guiding and helping you all the way when you're still 'fresh' to the cpv promotional method.

Normally you don't want to do zip/email offers that pays you $0.5-$2 , merchant will scrub or even kill your leads due to poor quality of leads.

For the long form type of offers, it's not going to work with directly linking most of the time. If you really want to promote long form offers , best way to do is either build a list using the cpv method, or use a presell/landing page.

I am currently doing lead offers which is ranging from $6-$13 payout per lead.

Thanks. What you said really helps. Anyway, I have recently read up on Mass PPV by Bobby Walker and gang but seems quite brief. Is PPV Play Book better or just enough to get started? You seems to have started Internet Marketing for quite sometime already, when did you start seeing profits coming in?

For me, I want to seriously concentrate on CPA marketing so think have to read up in this area more. Didn't really know that low offers will get scrub due to poor leads by advertiser. Think have to think of promoting other offers instead.

Like I said, if you're trying to test things out on your own without anyone actually guiding you, you'll lose money for sure. I lost around $150 before turning to a positive ROI...

You'll read the email submit is not going to be a good way if you're using paid method to promote it.

I don't know about Mass PPV, but I do believe that everyone will have their own way to make bucks on the internet, it's not the matter of whom you're following, I guess. It's about how comfortable you are going to be, by reading and implementing the techniques which the mentor reveals.

I feel comfortable learning cpv using the techniques revealed in PPV Playbook, and David the owner is giving out real time case studies, real life case studies, and even offer you to check out on your cpv/ppv campaign, and take a detailed look into it on what's wrong with your campaign.

Who else will do that for you ? You won't find any other human doing that I guess. :D So I would say, PPV Playbook forum is for beginner and intermediate cpv user. It's a private forum. I would really give it a try rather than losing bigger bucks upon trying things out on my own.

I have been doing 'research' on IM since 2006. Started to make my first bucks using ClickBank only on 2009, and I really started to dig deep into cpv since early January this 2010. Within 2 weeks, I found a winning strategy, and I've been making around $50-100 net profit per day now. Not bad for a new CPA and CPV user huh ?

WF is good, but PPV Playbook is a place where we focus and laser focus on discussing cpv methods and insights and of course, how to profit using the cpv method ! :)

Think about this : What if the forum grows into a 500+ people forum ? Will you get fast response from the coach ? I don't think so.
