So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

Don't forget that only learning is not enough, you have to apply what you've learned, grasp the basics of it, then when you think you have a good knowledge of the CPA field, you put what you've learn to work for you!

Yes this forum is your best resource as the warriors here are ultra helpful and jsut use the search function if you are stuck on a particular question or ask it on a thread.

I'm going on vacation for the next week, but feel free to pm me all the questions you have and I will get back to you as soon as I get home.

In terms of advice, here is my general strategy I would take...

    1. Read this forum and get a good foundation of understanding for CPA and the industry.

    2. Start applying to networks and checking everything out.

    3. Start with cheap and free methods of traffic so you dont go broke as you learn

    4. Put in your heart, passion, and work into a method and just go with it. Make it work and do everything in your passion to overcome all obstacles you face.

Believe in yourself and remember that with hard work comes good rewards.

    Best of luck buddy

      JenJen,
Not to long ago i was in your shoes, it all seemed to be so overwhelming, i thought i would never learn it all. I spent a lot of time reading this forum, and although i didn't understand it at first, the more i read the more i learned.
My biggest piece of advice would just be to read this forum. Go to Google and see what articles you can find regarding your areas of interest. Try applying to some networks, tell them your new and ask them as many questions as you want, they are there to help you. Try and get down the basics and the rest will become so much easier to understand. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, id be happy to help .

        1. Register a domain (something with media, marketing, etc.., in it)
        2. Put a good looking site on it with content that presents a professional appearance and directly relates to media and marketing (use a templatemonster.com template or a free CSS template)
        3. Learn the industry terminology
        4. Apply to 3-5 networks
        5. Be ready to speak with someone from the networks (knowing terminology and having a professional site goes a long way)
        6. Start testing out some zip/email subs via free or low cost methods
        7. Take the time to REALLY learn how all of this works...spend time here and other sites to hone your skills.

You won't learn until you actually make some mistakes

    Step one: Get Money
    Step two: Get Paid.

I really don't feel it's necessary to put up some "fake" site about marketing. I almost shy away from people that do that because it looks scammy to me. If people don't have company sites - then that's that. Most people don't have any need for it.

Here is the best bit off advise I can give and hopefully you will ever get!!!

if you are new to CPA (and probably to many im opps)

Choose one strategy you like and stick with it for at least 1 or 2 months learn from your experience then move up

Focus is the key here and if you want to make money with cpa you will do if you do not jump around from cpa - adsense-sitebuilding-latest sales pitch.

    just choose one.

I would also reccomend getting stuck into a private forum and a coach

WF is great and you can learn loads I di!! but focus is the key to success

be disciplined and honest with yourself the amount of time you are commiting to it each day or week.

sorry more than one bit of advice there but all really key

    enjoy!!
