This is How I Got Accepted to CPA Networks

This topic is one that I see all the time so I thought I would share what I did to get accepted to 5 CPA Networks. I will be honest and tell you I didn't get accepted to every network I applied to but I did get accepted to the majority. There were 2 that declined my application.

First of all, I had a completely unrelated website to any product available on the networks. My website is about ethnic haircare and hairstyles. I used that website to apply.

You do have to talk to them so be prepared with your answers. I called 2 of the networks, 4 called me and 1 approved me without talking to them. They sent their decision by email.

Some asked me why I wanted to join their network. I said I was making money with Clickbank and Commission Junction and it was time to move toward CPA. If asked how I heard of them I said I was in a cpa marketing bootcamp and they were recommended. One guy was really impressed by this.

They will ask you how you plan to drive traffic. (I am doing article marketing.) I told them I was going to run ppc direct linking and also use SEO. I was asked if my website was the one I was going to use and I said no, I would build sites around specific offers, which is what I do.

They will ask if traffic is incentivized and you should say no. Most networks do not allow this.

They will ask what your daily ppc budget is. I said around $150.

They will ask what kind of offers you are interested in. I said trial offers because I learned that they seemed to convert really well.

That was about it. I plan to re-apply to those that rejected me and a few more at some point. But right now, I have plenty of offers to choose from with the 5 networks I belong to.

I hope this was helpful!

I didn't get a specific reason. The email just said thanks for applying but I didn't fit with their business model. And that is fine. I'm sure they have their reasons. But the thing to remember is there are several cpa networks and you can always re-apply later when you have more experience.

Not nearly as daunting as some might think!

I think having to talk to someone is what makes many people uneasy. But people should keep in mind that the affiliate managers at cpa networks make money when you make money so it is in their best interest to accept you. Everyone I spoke with was very nice, so I don't think you have to worry about rude people.

        Bayareasteve,

Sorry, I misread your question! I don't want to say which two did not accept me because that may deter people from applying to those networks. They had their reasons and someone else with zero experience in cpa may get accepted for whatever reason. I think you just have to apply and see what happens.

Ahhh, a very common misperception by many people but you nailed it on the head.

Your affiliate manager is YOUR PARTNER. The more you rise, the more they do...you do stinky and it doesnt help them any. Just because affiliate managers are trying to keep blackhatters who deceive from joining their networks doesnt mean they are bad people or that they dont want to help you...its in their very best interest to help you succeed if you are legit!

As an affiliate manager when I get applicants in my network I look for their motivation, internet background and a referral.

As you know the internet space is clouded with lots of fraudulent people and activities.

I love it when an affiliate recommends another affiliate to join a network. Right there I am open up my trust them and work with them. A good resource to look meeting up with other affiliates is Meetup202.com. This is a great resource of a bunch of meetups in different cities across the US that affiliates get together. So make friends and see what networks they are running with.

In addition, be motivated and have a general direction of where you want to go in this space. So tell me you have done your research on affiliate marketing. Checking out other affiliate blogs. Checked out www.Affbuzz.com etc.

That's what I look for in accepting affiliates into my network.

      Cheers!
