Ever try CPA ads in newspaper classifieds?

I was thinking of running a few test classified ads in my local newspaper on products that would appeal to the masses. I would send them to my own URL that would forward to my affiliate URL of the CPA offer.

Has anyone tried this?

I figured if I got one that worked, I would have a monopoly on it in my town because my town is small (around 7000 people) and Internet Marketing is so foreign to anyone here that competition would most likely not even pop up.

    That sounds fun. Do let us know how the tests play out.

    You may have to be a bit pickier with your offers. There just may be a chance that you may be traced and asked to answer some unpleasant questions should one of the offers pull off the free trial scam.

    Mixing Offline and Online methods is almost always gold because the competition is lesser coz
    1) Fewer people to compete with in the Offline methods
    2) You are probably targetting a small geo niche.
