I don't know about you, but I'm getting so confused on callback URL's, pixels, SubID's, etc when it comes to tracking. I know many of you here are experts at it, but I just can't seem to get it right.

What I'm wanting to do is use Tracking202 for a new campaign using a MaxBounty CPA offer and Media Traffic.

All I want to do is set it up so when a person clicks my link and goes through with the CPA offer, I will get info back on WHICH URL produced the result (I have a large list of URL's I'm using in Media Traffic).

If someone could please instruct me on this, I would be GREATLY appreciative. This is driving me a bit nuts.

Thank you so much!

Hi Dayne my response to your other thread didn't work? Prosper 202/Tracking 202 will track referers and click thrus if you insert the tracking code appropriately. It does not directly track conversions, you have to copy your converted subids from your CPA network account and paste them into tracking 202. It will automatically match those subids to the appropriate ip/url.

Click the help link in Prosper 202 and there is bunch of videos and documentation to help out there. If you still need more specific instruction you will need to provide a little more information on your campaign structure. Like do you have a landing page? Are you rotating landing pages? Are you direct linking to the offer? Also the information you are looking for on referrers that convert I believe is tracked in your Media Traffic account.

I use sub-id codes of MaxBounty and it works well for me. Basically adding "&s1=whatever" at the end of your offer links will do the trick. Change "whatever" part. Are you looking for something else?

It's not if you load it on your own domain. ;-)

Use the "ROI Tracking" feature in Media Traffic. The MT tracking pixel is placed on the "Thank You/Sale Completed" page of the offer in MaxBounty.

When a target hits, you will see it right in your MT campaign stats.

Be aware that it will always under-report as the tracking pixel firing and recording is not 100%.

BTW - I use it myself.

I repeatedly say "test, test, test" but should add that tracking everything you can is very valuable.

Thanks John, you are exactly right. I figured it out today and it works. I already had one conversion today on a URL so hopefully things will continue.

Test, Test, Test is an understatement.

    Cheers!
