Hey Warriors

How much money do you invest for testing a offer b4 determining to ramp it up or not?

or how many clicks does it take to get good results?

i know that this is a very broad question but is there some fail safe #'s you go by?

A lot of testing will vary but I usually give it at least a week then monitor conversions and ROI. I feel like it's way to broad but depends on the project. I've spent $100 to test and then I've spend hundreds of dollars to test and sometimes not seen any conversions. Or sometimes I'll see conversions right off the bat then they fall off. I would just recommend invest whatever you can stand to loose, because the more you can invest, the better the end results!

Yea, you hit the nail on the head. It's an answer that will be based mostly on individual circumstance. Depending on your budget, you may want to test a few thousands dollars per campaign or you may want to test just a 5 dollars.

The hard part about testing is that sometimes the sucess of a campaigns with hundreds of keywords will be based on the postiive performance of just 1 or 2 keywords. So if you have a lot of testing budget, you will want to spend a lot in order to find those 1 or 2 great keywords.

Tracking is very scientific. Testing is just as much based on gut feeling as it is science.

      It really depends.

With CPV you can learn a lot with $50, and decide from there whether to continue a campaign..

Some campaigns I drop quickly, because it's obvious that I'm way off on matching the advert to the target.

Others, there is potential, so I change (& test) the advert, change the targets, change the bidding, and sometimes change the offer..

It costs money to test advertising, no way to avoid that.

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.
