I posted this in the PPC part of the forum, but does anyone know if one can target search phrases in YouTube using Google Adwords?

For example, if someone searches for videos on "life insurance", you could have your Google Text ad show up.

Do you simple go into Google Adwords, select Content Network, put the keyword phrase "life insurance" as your keyword, then put in youtube.com as the site to target?

I have GOT to start making some videos and getting them on YouTube. I have Keynote and PowerPoint on my Mac, no reason I shouldn't be getting something going.

I don't think there is a way to do both keywords and "site placement" in adwords as you described.

Hey Kenster!! Yeah bro I was having some trouble with my videos converting in the beginning.. Couple of months back I got Sneaky CPA, in the ebook he spoke about how Youtube is now the second biggest search engine.

Even tho its really not a search engine but it works the sameway. The more views you get the more you move up in the natural search listings thus getting even more views and tapping into more traffic to your offer. So that ebook helped me out alot

Plus I got my hands on some tools to help me out with Youtube to get that edge over the computation which is always nice

Yeah its been a good week for me aside from that I'm ready to jump into PPV. I got approved into TrafficLance!! My Affiliate manger got me in! I've read everything under the sun when it comes to PPV and cant wait to get started...

Good stuff man but dont leave video behind. You found something that works, now leverage the heck out of it. People make good money with video, and the great thing is that its very autopilot.

So maybe focus on video for another month and get a good steady stream of income going then get into ppv or whatever. Hate to see you pass up on a system that seems to be working for you.

Oh yeah bro NO WORRIES, I'm still going to post videos like rabbits having baby..Hmmm where have I heard that before

I just got a good amount of cash at the moment to test the water with PPV.

The best thing I ever did in my life was to leave Wealthy Affiliate (which I was there for a year) And join WOF I've learned SO much here from just watching people.

And soaking up all the info, learning what works and what doesnt.

The best advice I can give you guys who are asking is: Find videos on youtube that are getting a boat load of views. Copy the videos, you can use a plug in from Firefox called ''download helper'' It will download the videos and change them to AVI format so you can upload them on Youtube.

Ask your affiliate Manger what products are hot right now and are converting well. Link that offer to your video it doesnt have to be relevant to the video. Just make sure its a hot product that almost anyone would want. Test different offers to see which one converts better. And it pays to learn how to use MovieMaker or imovie. To make your slide shows and what not.

Also it pays to mess around on Youtube for a couple of hours and watch what other people are doing and get idea's from them. See how other affiliates are offering products, grow from there! Remember ''If you build it it will come'' I've only got one lead today so far but it's only 11:12am over here in Jersey.

I'm interested in using youtube as a way to make some income. Currently I have a video uploaded with 78,000 views. It's a rap song and I've been trying to target a specific niche to the audience who views these rap songs. But to no avail no luck with anything. I was wondering if there was a better way to earn money with youtube videos instead of advertising a product.

You could put up a cpa lead gateway or one like it where the user can go download the song but they have to fill the offer out first and make sure you are just linking to the download and not hosting it yourself.

Yea, you can sign up with cpalead.com and they have a gateway that you can generate to do this. Or you can have your own gateway with your own offers in them. Hit me up if you have anymore questions about it.

Yeah gateways are a GREAT way to make money on Youtube. I see alot of people offering to give you lists of passwords to log into porno sites. But first you must do a survey to have access to the list. The good thing is the list always expires (because people are changing there passwords) So you will need to go back in the future to get a fresh new list of passwords. Thus doing another survey which = more money $$$ for you.

Keep in mind you will have to know how to use torrents to get hacked lists of passwords or things like Little Snitch. Hey Colton yes I'm taking them to my landing page, no I'm not watermarking them. The reason I'm not is just in case one day I have to change that URL to a new one. NEVER direct link the offer picture you having 200 videos and all of them are being direct linked and the offer expires!! It would be a nightmare changing ALL the links.

Got 2 more leads today, I'm sorry Bandit but for obvious reason I cant give you a link to my offer.

Yes, of course I'm using my own domain name. Make your domain name relevant to the offer. And not letters & number like bit.ly people will trust your link more if its relevant to your offer. EVERY little bit helps to get more leads than do it!

I'm using a combo of methods and tools to get more traffic to my site. One of the tools I use are imovie to create my slide shows with music playing in the backround. Imovie is for MAC computers. Youtube is great because everything really does run on autopilot. You set it than forget it!

You guys be creative when putting out these videos! Spend one whole day on Youtube just looking at videos write down idea's. I cant explain how good it feels to log into your CPA network and see that you are getting a lead or 2 everyday!

the goal guys is find something that works and pump out 15 videos of it a day or more. I can pump out 15 in about a little more than an hour. With time you guys will get faster at this and it will pay off.

iamx... congrats on your success bro. I have been posting some vids on youtube recently using, seemingly, the same method as you describe. My problem is my videos arent getting indexed in youtube search thus, very little view. Honestly, I have one video with 25 views and I dont even know how it was found. Any tips on getting traffic to your videos? I social bookmark them but that doesnt help much.

If you dont want to do any self promoting of your videos just do the following

1. Have creative, controversial perhaps, bizarre, interesting titles. This is why people view your video, they see your title first

2. comment on your own video to stir up controversy. If your video is about miley cyrus, have a comment that says miley cyrus is the most overrated singer. I guarantee you will get people who comment back. The more activity the better

3. Look for good keywords or good trends. Videos is simlar to ppc or any paid traffic source in that respect

Hey Colton,

One thing stands true in this game. I remember people always telling me to ''never try to reinvent the wheel'' DO WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING, but do it BETTER! And it's my first time making a nice steady cash flow with Youtube. Before this I was direct linking CPA offer/Clickbank products on Yahoo. So I've tasted CPA blood before and liked it >=) lolz

The BEST advice I can give you is to hangout on Youtube For a day watch a bunch of videos. See what affiliates are doing to get people to click threw. And if you think what they are doing is pretty clever than it probably IS!

Copy it guys Youtube is a big field for everyone to play in.

The concept of checking out your competitors rings true for any traffic source and almost anything you do online. Even better, its a great idea to check out different marketing niches and tactics and implementing those into your campaign.

For example, I watched an info product commercial called P90x (fitness niche) on TV the other week and ended up jotting down 2 pages of notes of things I like. I implemented those concepts into my campaigns, despite P90x not being related to my campaigns at all.

Marketing is marketing. Things that work well in one place generally can be applied across a wide variety of products, niches, and strategies.

Youtube marketing worked like a charm when it was still on the low...now everybody does it it seems.
Im in a very weird cpa niche where I get clicks for 1 cent in huge volumes and finally find a converting offer....you can imagine how I feel about youtube marketing at the moment hahaha!
