Youtube matched third party content ??

Does anyone know what that means? I copied a video on Youtube and re-uploaded it to Youtube. And I saw that ''matched third party content''I got scared and deleted the video!

Has Any Youtube marketer seen this before and what does it mean?

What do you think it means? Means exactly what it says it means.

It means their software can tell you that your video has already been uploaded to youtube and so it says it matches 3rd party content. Likely they'll do nothing or it could be deleted by youtube. Shouldn't come as a surprise as you copied the video and merely re-uploaded it. As for consequences of this, I don't know that there are any automatically, but if someone complained about copyright then they can easily see your video is a copy and delete it.

I had a song in the background the other day and they were doing the same... I don't think I should get if off, what if the redio is on and someone gives an interview, do they call copyright?

i think you should read your post it holds the key to your question Never upload anyone else content as it will get deleted or copyright slapped i have been hit with copyright on the music part but had done a audio swap and the video has been accepted. Its better to make your own up using windows movie maker and other tools online you can get for free plus you wont see much copyright issues when you make them.

lol, this happens all the time to people. Mainly with music, but it does happen to when you just rip the video from someone and throw it back up as your own. And no nothing will happen to you, your video will just get deleted and that's it.
