So its been 16 Hours and I have Not made any money yet!

Hey, so I launched a new campaign, I started using adwords content instead of search to test an offer, I created an entire new wordpress website as my landing page with banners that would lead the visitors to the cpa offer. I launched this campaign late last night, and I have had decent impressions and a CTR of 5-8%, however I have not had any success with the CPA offer yet and it hasn't been 24 hours. Should I be worried?

It's really hard to say without more information. Particularly, how much traffic you have sent to it. Hopefully you're collecting data to use in your next test, because more often then not, raking in the cash takes more time, money, and effort then the guru's would have you believe.

Just do not only rely on ppc traffic .. try also other sources to boost traffic to your website..

It really depends on how targeted your keywords are for your PPC campaign. If they're arn't buying keywords, it's going to be quite difficult to make any sales.

Evalute your keywords and make sure that they are targeted to the specific CPA offer. Think about, are the people typing in these keywords into the search engines looking to buy?

It's always best to use other methods of driving traffic to your website, especially free methods like writing articles.

MrLink, WOW! I am very impressed, what ad network did you use for PPC? Google? Yahoo? also did you just focus on search network or try out content?

Your cost per click looks very expensive for Content - I wouldn't normally pay more than 10 cents. And you need to get a lot more clicks to be sure of your conversion rate.....once you get to 100 clicks with no sales you know your conversions are less than 1%, which is not great.

    Your blog looks good though!

    best wishes,

    Jon.

Yea I made my content bids at .80 cents to start, just so i get some clicks and traffic, but I am going to reduce the costs slowly in the following days. I have heard this strategy works well, if you want google to give you a good quality score, and better ad ranking.

    Hi,

    Few Pointers:

    1. Do you believe you have the right offer? I mean have you talked to AMs, or know for sure that the offer converts?
    2. Look at your site from a customer/visitor's perspective - Would you buy if it was you? You're targeting the offer for humans after all.
    3. Are you using the right keywords?
    4. Content network can be hard to crack sometimes - so here are the things that can be wrong overall:

    - Poor Landing Page (From a customer's point of view)
    - Non-targeted Traffic (There is a higher chances of making a sale when people are actually looking for the product or to solve a problem - casual browsers almost never turn to customers)
    - Non Converting Offer

And last of all. Patience. Don't be dejected if this offer doesn't work out. Keep trying. Good luck.

Yea my AM said this offer is doing real well with PPC, also its just a name, email, phone number, and address submit and in return the visitors would get a Free Special Guide, my current landing page is a blog site, I use wordpress direct and I stuck one of the offer creative banners at the top of the screen and on the sidebar, i have just recently added a email opt-in for the visitors to get the free report so I hope this will increase conversions from zero to something.
