As many of the experienced marketers have been through and as many newbie marketers may be experiencing, information overload and the resulting paralysis is a huge problem when starting out in CPA. There is so much to learn and so many directions to take.

So tell us your story. Are you experiencing the paralysis now?

If you've overcome the paralysis, how did you do it?

Great idea starter. I think it honestly comes down to getting your first sale. About a year and a half ago when I first started dabbling in PPC and CPA I would literally stress out watching money go and not getting leads or generating a single dime of revenue.

One of the easiest ways to overcome paralysis is having some leads convert and show that your hard work is paying off, or else it all seems like not only a large waste of money, but a waste of time that could be better delegated.

So many times I've found myself so close to breaking through a certain wall or barrier and also so close to giving up. Then I look back and say "wow, I'm sure glad I didn't give up at that point, I had no idea how close I was"

I think most noobs would be concerned about the budget to get this all done. I mean, in my case, I wouldn't consider myself as a newbie. I am still trying to figure out the best ways to find profitable offers that convert well. --- And getting the target traffic for it, that is.

As far as experience go, I've bought products on WSO and many of them only give an overview of what CPA is. Many products here even go as far as 20-30 pages just to explain what the CPA marketing field is all about when the harder part is the market research and driving traffic with a conservative budget.

My "paralysis" does come from a huge amount of ideas and theory but I've come to learn that not every method works for every niche, just as you have indicated in your guide that Article marketing has not quite worked out for you in Cpa offers.

I am continuing to overcome the paralysis but at a point where seeing negative ROI through testing is wearing me down.

I just continue to believe in persistence and the whole trial and error basis but it would be really nice to get honest feedback and support whenever someone offers a WSO here. It seems a trend to just package something, sell and just focus on the selling part without delivering appropriate CS once a customer pays.

When I'm feeling the burn, I usually just meditate for a while to refocus my energy and figure out what's amiss. It helps to have the right mindset - believing that success is not an overnight occurrence that will just naturally happen through one ebook.

I've experienced it and I'm sure almost everyone involved in internet marketing has gone trough this stage. The most important thing to do is to have a written plan and stick with it until you see results or you are sure it's a failure. Changing strategies every week will only waste time and money and make you lose faith in your capabilities.

I have extreme information overload and paralysis right now. Within the past few months I've bought almost every course from Don and Jeremy but haven't done anything with them yet and now I'm trying to decide which method I want to start working on. I'm trying to decide between starting to work on content network crash course, cpa drifter, cpa double your cash, or evil article marketing. I finally got accepted to max bounty and can't decide which offer/niche to promote. I also signed up for Don&Jeremy's PLR articles so I have about 30 PLR articles on loan modification, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and car insurance quotes. But I am confused exactly what I should do with them.

I want to start working on cpa double your cash method but it requires to sign up for an autoresponder at $20 per month and I am reluctant to spend any more money.

I need help. I'm so confused and overwhelmed. Which method should I start to work on and how can I utilize the PLR articles?

The first sale basically gets you not feeling paralyzed, or as paralyzed I should say. Right now I have newfound confidence not because i've been making alot of money, but because i've been selling all my sites (904 total) on auctions and they're making alot, so I hired a guy to basically coach me for a month. By the way this is the same guy who just got back from Dallas because a millionaire who was losing money in the stockmarket called him up so he could start investing in CPA. How cool is that. Anyway, I suppose it's sort of like hiring kenster to come and train you for a month at a time. That's exactly why i'm in a good mood these days.

I feel pretty focused, but, I haven't made much money in CPA yet. I'm doing a bunch of article marketing- haven't gotten conversions. I am also investing some in amy's wso- my page isn't converting squat. I'm also looking at adsense- haven't taken the plunge yet.

I'm definitely not sure how to create a landing page that converts. It seems simple enough but I'm not getting much click thru.

It's nice to hear folks like amy mention they are glad they didn't give up. I know it works, I just have to find the winning formula! Gotta feed the kids!

    I agree with honestbiz.

My facination with CPA and internet marketing in general is that it rewards creativity. It forces you to let your mind be free from all restraints and just imagine.

It forces you to think many layers deep, to predict upcoming trends. This is cool stuff.

...or im just a huge dork

I started buying every product about making money and only concentrated on 1 thing: Pay-Per-Lead and driving PPC traffic to it. Plain and simple. I just DID more instead of READING more, which a lot of peope tend not to do. And I wasnt afraid to fail. As we all know, you NEED to fail in order to succeed. That's the real secret. Takes cohones but hey, if you cant handle the heat, get outta the kitchen.

      Yep.

For better or worse, my family is made up of many entrepreneurs and one thing they told me was...

"be smart when making businesses and try and make them work, but most businesses fail. Most successful entrepreneurs fail their first few businesses before they hit it big. So just run with your ideas. If you fail, you are one step closer to your home run"

This helped me get over the initial stages of starting my business. At the back of my mind I thought, what the heck, lets give this my best shot possible. If I fail, its not a huge deal.

this has been said but well worth repeating

start ith an offer and then stick with it for a week at least trying 7 methods - one each day.
the following choose the one that gemerated most traffic then stick with that for another week.

focuss is the key and not to jump around loads
