Need help with Traffic Generation / CPA

Hi all,

I hope I am able to get some help from here. I had been marketing online nearly 1 year and my sales had not been improved. Till now I am earning less that US$100 and had not RECEIVE my 1st clickbank check yet.

I'm always curious how those experts manages to earn around a few K per day and I am aiming to earn between $50-$100 for now - still no success. =(

I switch from Affiliate Marketing to selling PLR products after learning that selling products is better that doing affiliate marketing.

I planning to build my list through selling PLR products and once I achieved it I will send product promotions to my list in the form of an affiliate marketer.

The change of method was because I didnt manages to sell anything by doing affiliate marketing but I manage to have a sale from 1 of my PLR products.

I believe the REAL SUCCESS in Interent Marketing is to GENERATE TRAFFIC. However, I do not know the ACTURAL SECRETS TO BUILD A LIST & SENDING MASSIVE TRAFFIC TO MY PRODUCTS.

I hope someone is able to teach me how to generate massive traffic to my PLR products & build a list. I had brought many Interent Marketing products but none seems to work.


I had also heard of CPA marketing but I don't think it is suitable for beginners? I do not have enough money so I might pospone the idea first.

    Hi Calvin,

    You should focus.

    Affiliate marketing is easier if you target the right keywords. You should choose longtail or buyer keywords. Are any of your pages ranking on the first page? If not, you should get it ranked first because that is where the good number of sales will come in.

    Also, you should not jump from one thing to another. Focus is the key. While CPA is easier, it is better to learn how to sell something online first.

    I always believed that once you learn the process of selling something online, you can sell anything. Whether it be CPA, PLR or your own products.

    You may need to narrow down the Buy keywords for your niche. If you are attracting people in the wrong step of the process, it will take a while to make a sale.

    You dont want the people that are just looking around, you want the person that knows what they want, and is searching for a very specific model number, or very specific solution to a problem they have.

      Have a look at video marketing as a way to markedly increase traffic.

      It is free, easy to do and can provide traffic directly from the video as well as from backlinks.

      A simple and effective approach is to turn one of your articles into a video. You can easily add voice commentary, music and images to make it more interesting. There is some inexpensive and free software available that will help.

      Thanks for the advice.

      Here are my main focus:

      1. Sell PLR products (will launch new PLR products every month)
      2. Build a list through PLR products.
      3. Promote products through affiliate marketing, which is easier aft I had a list?

      Some of my products are on the 1st page of google while some are not. I guess the importance of domain names & keywords play a part as well?

      I'm also confuse with Google, Yahoo & MSN as they don't rank my sites together. Some will rank 1st on Yahoo but not sure why was de-index after sometime.

      Is it due to the number of backlinks? I always though it is impt to link those "not so" index URL on search engine. www.secrets2profit.com is the example I am using backlinks.

      As my budget is low, I could not afford those paid advertising so I am focusing on FREE traffic.

      To date I had did:

      article marketing

      Social Media/bookmarking through onlywire

      trying on Hubpages / squidoo

      The above methods have low clicks =X while I think the method below works better.

      search engine submission

      Video marketing through tubemogul

      JV request with some of the marketer. They are alright to do a JV with me =)

      I believe I am able to SUCCESS BY USING FREE TRAFFIC GENERATION?

      Can I know all the methods to send free traffic to my URL? thanks

      Not sure abot blog commenting and forum posting as I do not know how to start...

      How about selling PLR products in WF classified section?

      I knew CPA Marketing could bring massive traffic but I think I wont be doing so now as a newbies with my low budget...

        Google is your friend. Just search for topics you don't fully understand.

        Check out SEObook's website and learn everything there, it helped me a lot.

        Writing articles takes a lot of time so you should try to understand how to do it well to get ranked.

        They all play a huge part. To rank in search engines you should take into account the authority of the domain, age of the domain, backlinks to the page.

        Each search engine uses different methods to rank sites so your pages will not rank the same across different engines. These methods can also change over time...

        I also need to stick by airabongco's wise words : focus on one method. learn to do it right.

          Hi Calvin

          I agree with the other comments and would add that you do REALLY need to FOCUS on one method of traffic generation before considering others

          Once you have mastered (or at least happy with your results) of one method then you can look at other ways of drawing traffic

          It's a bit like a jigsaw, and, although you don't need to master all the different methods, being proficient at 2 or 3 or handful will give you a better grounding. After all different traffic sources respond better to different niches/products

          I would also say that the same goes for focusing on different selling methods, focus on one method & be happy with your results before switching to something else or adding another method

          All these professional marketers you mention more than likely have a good few years experience and have found their chosen methods and continuously refine them as an ongoing process

          It takes time and effort, there is no 'magic pill' and it's a learning process. How long it takes depends on a lot of different factors such as chosen niche/market, competition etc but also on the ispeed of the ndividuals learning, understanding and implementing

    The key is that the big guys PAY for that traffic. Others do Joint Ventures but most of them do PPC or Media Buys.

    Even if they do SEO they have a big budget and buy links, outsource content and whatnot, so the key to making a lot is to spend some money on it. The difference will be your profit.
