Free traffic methods not converting, what am I doing wrong?

I am fairly new to CPA IM but I have done alot of studying and alot of reading on this forum and decided to take action. I have been accepted into 5 CPA networks already. My goal is simple, to make $300 a day with free traffic methods. I don't mind investing 4-8 hours a day but I am not seeing any conversions at all. I am having problems already and want to get your opinions and suggestions.

I decided to go with Netflix CPA, I have a new just released movie that I am selling cheap on CL. I post up in many areas. I get many responses (about 150+ a day), I sell it to the first person, then the rest of the emails I'll respond saying that I just sold the movie and suggest trying out Netflix risk free trial and the movie is on their door step next day. I dont have an email auto responder yet so I respond to every single email. I use gmail for they have a link you can post your affiliate link and cover up the text with a display text. I suggest they go to www netflix com as the display text but really its my direct affiliate link.

Now my questions are...
Why are they not converting?
Does it seem to obvious that I'm trying to sell them?
What are other ways of promoting my CPA with other free methods?
I want to create an auto response through yahoo email so I can invest more time into something else, but they dont have an hyper link feature, can I still have a display name aka www netflix com and hide my affiliate link under it, with html or java script?
I am looking at commissionjunction for Netflix text links but I don't know how to incorporate the hyperlinks without showing the affiliate link.
Sorry if confusing, hope you understand where I'm trying to get at. Thanks for your help.

    You could also buy a cheap domain name, and do a redirect to the offer. The $10 you invest for a year, and having a more professional looking URL could help.

    Do you know for sure your offers email are getting through, and not being marked as spam?

      Yes for I just reply back to them. They email me via CL and I respond back to them.

      Oh ok so your saying instead of just hiding my my aff link under a display hyperlink, I can just get a domain name and use that to re-direct to my aff landing page?

    Take a look at your offer and see what methods of promotion are allowed. I am very familiar with netflix and know that most networks allow banner traffic only. You may be getting people to sign up but not be getting commissions because you are promoting out of bounds.

      I have Netflix through Google Affiliate Network. I looked it up and they have textual links aswell. Maybe it seems like im trying to sell them when I feel like I'm just suggesting trying them out? Thanks

        Textlinks and e-mail aren't the same thing. Text links would be on a website.
