Looking For a CPV/PPV Coaching Program? Expensive VS Cheap Programs Explained..

A while ago, I heard a lot of stuff about CPV/PPV traffic. I've decided to get my feet wet in CPV/PPV too. So I went out and hunt for numerous courses on CPV/PPV traffic...

Well if you don't know what is that, it's basically a paid method to get traffic. Cheaper to cpc/ppc traffic, don't necessarily need a landing page, no quality score, can be directly link to merchant's site, etc...

However, if this source of traffic is not used wisely, it can cause a huge hole in your pocket, resulting a huge loss and not getting any form of quality traffic/response.

Many people would like to use CPV/PPV traffic to promote affiliate stuff, especially to promote CPA offers.

Now, if you're new to this form of traffic, what would you do?

1) Search for information around the internet on how to use this paid method correctly on your own?
** Time Consuming, risky

2) Trying to do this on your own without even reading or research any information about CPV/PPV ?
** Risky, time consuming

3) Search for information in the WSO section and the Ad Networks - CPA, CPM, CPL - Millionaire Makers section.
** Faster compare to researching for information on your own. But some unethical marketer/coach just don't tell you the full story. Some WSO poster just don't even know what they are talking about! So beware...

4) Looking for a personal CPV/PPV coach!
** It could be VERY expensive, but if you are searching it out hard enough, you might get yourself a reasonably priced CPV/PPV coaching program. It really depends
...

Just a few tips to those who are new in the CPV/PPV league -

a) You need MONEY for sure to TEST things out. You've heard people saying that the cost per view could go as low as $0.01 . (Yea, but what if you get around 2000 views per 24 hours?)

In some other cases, if you're configuring the campaign in a WRONG way, it could resulting you to get that 2000 views in 1 hour (or less) period of time. Also, what if you're not the only one bidding for that particular keyword/url? The price could fly high, as high as some cpc/ppc bidding price.

b) You need to know how to TRACK things down to the keyword level! This is vital! It's a move that could result your campaign to make it or break it!

c) You need to be thinking out of the box, or at least having the ability to notice what others are doing, take the idea and spin it a little bit, be creative...

Well, those above are my personal experiences and I am in no way to be an expert in the CPV/PPV realm. I am as new as you are but I have definitely make quite some money promoting CPA offers within the last two weeks of January 2010.

How did I get started? Well, I bought one of the BIG GUY's course (super expensive - $800+), yet I could not even break even utilizing only this course's method.

And then I found some sort of "personal coaching" which I started to see positive returns since then... The cost of it? Just a fraction of the super expensive course! Reason was, I was able to get fast and direct response from the coach itself. Be it over the email/forum/IM or any sort of point of contact.

This shows that it is not necessarily that you have to pay for a high ticket course to be profitable in the game. And cheap doesn't mean that the quality isn't always there! I would prefer someone to show me the right way of using this power paid method, rather than going out there losing tons of money before getting any positive net profit...

So that's how I get started in CPV/PPV and I hope that people can really study up before jumping into the game.

you are absolutely right...before entering the PPV game, one has to be prepared when it comes to keyword selection, targeting and analyisis of campaigns...it is not unusual to lose some money at the beginning...things have to be developed further to gain money from this method...

one thing which acts as an deterrant to me to engage in PPV is the fact, that many PPV networks require an initial funding of at least 200 USD...as to be mentioned Lead Impact and Media Traffic.

What is your favourite PPV network?

Personally, I don't really like Media Traffic because everyone and their pets are joining MT because many CPV/PPV courses out there are introducing people to start with MT! Hell, the bidding war is like no end in MT. I have not use Lead Impact yet but I do know some members in a forum that I joined, is having quite some good results with them.

I like those other smaller network. Linksador, Clicksor, Adonnetwork, etc... They do convert as opposed to some other people mentioning that they aren't converting.

I wonder why they said like that... (Maybe they just don't want others to compete with them in the same network )

It is true that if you set up a campaign incorrectly you could lose lots. Training is the key to succeeding with CPV.

Lead Impact have loads - and also Mediatraffic but I'm not convinced that it's of the same quality to be honest.

Leadimpact has good quality European traffic. At least my UK campaigns are converting better than USA traffic over at Leadimpact.

I completely agree with you that ...

When every any wants to play with any paid advertisement model , it is important to completely know and understand how the system works , the techniques , strategies and tools involved.

Otherwise , playing any paid advertisement program , including PPV , with insifficinet knowledge is Risky .

I also agree with your point that thinking outside of the BOX is critical .
