How do you get accepted on MIVA, advertise.com...

first i'd like to apologize if that's not the right section to post this.
I'm looking to get accepted as a publisher on such sites as MIva, Advertise.com 7search... but it seems they will not accept just any site.
Does anyone know what kind of site is needed ?
Can you show me an example site ?
