LeadImpact and Maxbounty - Help with Tracking ?

Hi Fellow CPA'ers

I am trying to set up keyword conversion tracking between LeadImpact and Maxbounty.

MB provides a spot to fill in a url for tracking on each campaign ... but LI provides a piece of Javascript for tracking.

I have tried making a page on one of my domains containing the Javascript chunk, and then calling that page in the MB tracking field. But, it didn't work.

Can anyone tell me what is the best way to track between LI and MB ?

Thanks in advance.

Alan

Why not track by subid instead of java? just add &s1= at the end of your link and add the subid at the end

You should place the javascript leadimpact gives you as a pixel in maxbounty.
There is a button in maxbounty , in the campaign you are running , "Add a Pixel".
Paste the code there and you are good to go!

@bbrock32 - MB wont accept any url in that pixel field that does not start with http ... I have tried the javascript snippet as supplied by LI, as well as just the url in the javascipt snippet. Neither are acceptable in that field. The javascript snippet contains a url starting wit https

@ChrisBa - to see the keywords that are converting LI, MB has to first pass them back to LI via the javascript snippet. Would a MB subid not just indicate to LI which campaign converted, instead of which actual keyword converted ? Just trying to get my head around the "process".

Many thanks to you guys for the suggestions.

      Much appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. MB's Pixel field only accepts "http//:..." not the "https".

I actually asked MB support today, but did not get a workable answer yet.

I'll post it when I do.

My affiliate manager at MB just got back to me and offered to place the tracking pixel for me. She asked to let her know how it goes.

All I need now are some conversions!

I'll post back if that works.

              Hey Eezy,

Another thing you may want to try is using Tracking202. It's a site that enables you to track your campaigns outside of the CPA network or advertising platform. Basically, you enter in all of your information for your campaign and once you've completed all of the steps, it gives you a "Global Tracking Pixel". You can then copy that pixel and give it to your AM. They will then place that pixel for you and it will track the campaign you are currently running and any future campaigns that you run through that specific CPA network. If that confused you at all, I go into it step-by-step on my blog, so feel free to check it out. Hope that helps though!

              Best of Luck,

As cpabrainsotrmer said , install P202 and instead of LeadImpact's pixel place the p202 pixel. It has both a http and https version. You can use the http one.

MaxBounty does not support Javascript tracking code. As indicated in this thread, we only accept pixels that start with http://
