10,000 Clicks and no conversion ?

Hi,

Can you please help me to understand the report in attachment from neverblue? I have a network of blogs sending about 2,000 unique hits mainly us organic traffic. I'm making some money with Adsense and I wanted to increase my revenue with Neverblue but I don't see conversion yet. I'm still testing some campaign but for 10,000 hits maybe I could have got at least 1 lead lol ?

You will convert only if your traffic is targeted .

If your traffic is not targeted, make sure to select CPA offer suitable to your audiences demographic behavior .

Well I dont mind giving the offers. I'm promoting Payday Loan and Rebill. But it works for any kind of offers as my traffic seems interesting. According to Google analytics most of my traffic is from the USA and Canada and a only a few from other countries. I was trying for many offers and I have seen that any kind of offers I promote I get in average 1,000 clicks per day minimum. I'm a programmer so I made some stuff on WP to get as much pages as possible on Google and drive a lot of traffic and it works.

Sorry, but you still have answered some good questions....

Is the traffic Targeted, what is the topic of your site.... for all we know your site has nothing to do payday loans and rebills....

I'm no expert in CPA, but more info is needed if you want help.

While looking on the forum I noticed a thread by a guy selling an ebook for $9 on how to make $250 daily with CPA and articles directories. I think is site's name is "loop.." something I dont remember. Anyway, when reading his ebook I noticed that he advised to use traffic generated by trending topics to drive traffic to his offers. So, I tried the same but on my own existing blog. So, I didnt make any particular demographic search. I just know that people want to win things so I put freebies offers and I guess some people would want payday loan so I put payday loan offers. I was also thinking rebill offers may attract some other us visitors. This is just how I proceed.

        My blog is not targeted.

I'm going to guess and say you are direct linking these offers. Those types of offers can be tough to make conversions by direct linking.

Since your target is based on google trends, your traffic is probably not targeted. I would try to narrow down your target audience and offer them something they would be interested and rotate different offers.

You have a lot of traffic coming in so you could test pretty quickly.

I would also give email/zip submits a try with this type of traffic.

Tryinhere answered your question. Impressions are from the banners and the clicks come from banners and text links.

Looks as if your clicks aren't targeted. If I have 10,000 clicks from people looking to buy sweaters and the land on a apple iPad offer chances are you won't see a high conversion.

I have a question. I have had over 300 hits on ppc to an affiliate website and when I go
to the real site I have NO hits. I am new at this so, I am asking, How do I prevent the
obvious ripping off of the hits. Only God knows how much money I have lost because of
    this theft.

Guys, I'm missing something in all your answers. You keep saying her traffic is not targeted. But we are talking about 10,000 CLICKS. 10,000 times banners have been clicked, not a redirected shot to the offer.

This indicates people made a conscious decision to click on the banner ad. That is a lot of clicks without having a conversion. Normally if you want to call it untargeted traffic, similar to doing Facebook, you would be seeing tons of impressions, with low clicks, and then low conversions. OR these are not people clicking at all.

Stephane, you say your traffic is coming from Google, does this mean you are running Google Analytics and can see statistics on your blogs?

Second question Stephane... You are saying 3 banners per POST. That is a ton of banners. How many posts are we talking about? How many blogs? How often are spiders going through your blogs?

I'm just picturing if one of my blogs had 3 banners per post. I have 10 posts showing on the front page of my blog sometimes. That would be 30 banners. Then each individual post page would be showing 3 banners, too.

Google Analytics can tell you how much of your traffic is BOT traffic which could be following those links simulating a click.

You need to determine if this traffic is human clicks, or non-human clicks first, before you start chasing other ideas.

That must be really frustrating, i get like 10-20 leads in 1000 clicks in most cases with ppv, media buys and ppc traffic.
I think your traffic is not targeted enough , like if you are promoting health offer at dating site, you are not going to get any leads,

Edit- in some cases bots might be clicking on your banner ads, i remember when i started i did media buys with adtoll site, and i was getting 100's of clicks but no leads, later i find out that the bots were clicking my ads.

-Sorry to be off-topic, but are you still using adtoll? I was thinking about trying them out, but looking for a good CPA network that offers a lot of International/foreign offers to throw at the traffic - since most of it seems to be foreign traffic.

I'd be interested in knowing what you think and if they ever fixed the bot problem...

      Thanks.

Are you .. buying bulk traffic?

Regardless of your sales platform, unless your buying one of those "xxxx visitors for $x" deals - if someone is clicking ads on your site, they have at the very least a remote interest in the offer. The odds of not getting a single conversion, are about 1/100 - not 1/10000

are those clicks or page views? Sometimes that can get confusing. Often times people are popping the landing page (CPV networks as an example), and when that happens, the clicks will look huge.

There's not one single indication of this, so they aren't "shaving" or "stealing". The OP needs to provide A LOT more details (particularly the specific offers) to get a real answer.

I suggest you change the product , with 10000 clicks you may get 1% conversion, it mean 100 buyer , a product with $20 profit can bring you $2000. May be the product is not good or your visitor do not like it. Make a polls or research to find down what product suit with your visitor. I had read a book : Stopping act as seller and acting as buyer, it say some thing like this. I think you should change the planning and try to test more products.

Make sure you are targetting for the right offers. MOST CPA networks have a lock where if their customer only wants USA traffic, IP's from anything else but USA will not see your offer.

Also, make sure the ads actually convert. This is a bit taboo but, you should make sure the offer converts as advertised.

Also, if an offer states "NO SEARCH" then traffic coming from search engines like Google, will get the same drop page as those who live outside the USA and the clicks you pay for are wasted. Always check with your AM.

Those CPA networks don't know it but a lot of their offers' links are not working. 10K clicks from Google should get you some sales.
