Any Of You Using Youtube?

Hey all,

Completely new to CPA and wanted to know the best way to drive free traffic? Just want to test some offers out and see how it goes as i usually do alot of clickbank stuff.

What youtube techniques are there to drive traffic and is article marketing any good - if so what do you do to get people onto your offer?

There are some seriously awesome video trafficking methods that allow for SERIOUS CPA cash.

One would be to get your hands on popular tv series. Upload only a portion of the video and link out to your site. Have a CPA script run that only allow the user to view the page if they fill out one of your CPA offers.

You'll make a killing. the only issue to get around of is that youtube very quickly deletes these tv series videos. Also, the users who know you are an affiliate will hate your guts for giving them half assed content and flag your content. It's not good for long term, but effective in the short term.

    Cheers

awesome! Exactly the type of advice I am looking for and much appreciated, any more tips other than youtube?

Gallo, are there any shows in particular that are good to go for? Also how would i get a cpa script to enable what you said? I assume its just a copy and paste job?

    Hi Steve,

If you are looking for a script that will work with RGallowitz idea here, you can try signing up for CPAlead. They have a script ready for you to use.

The downside, however, is that you cannot choose your own offers. CPAlead have done the job for you which means a revenue cut on your part.

As with article marketing, it is by far the most effective free method out there when it comes to promoting any type of CPA. You will get traffic from it and it will be targeted because people who will click through your CPA offer will be interested in it to begin with. It is always better to generate targeted traffic.

    Hope that helps,

    Aira

      Really?

I'd have thought it was hard to get views using articles for cpa as most of the offers would be so competitive. If i wrote an article on **** berry for example (I won't before you say anything ) Im thinking it wouldn't get any views without even thinking about conversions or am I wrong?

    Yes Steve,

I used to think that way as well. But you will be surprised once you try it.

As for keywords, I would not go for keywords that are already taken and have too many competitors. Of course, you have to know how to conduct good keyword research to harvest those profitable keywords you can use for your campaign. It does not necessarily need to be the product itself. Sometimes, related words work as well.

It will help if you will think like your market. What words will you type to find what you want? Think as if you are someone who will jump at the CPA offer when it is promoted to you. What kinds of words will you search? What kinds of articles do you want to read?

This technique is simple but often overlooked by a lot of marketers. Remember that the prospects are people as well. Getting in their minds will make you ahead of the game.

        Hi Steve,

Youtube has been tapped a lot as a market source for CPA when CPA is just new to the scene. The promoters decreased all because Google bought Youtube and decided to implement new rules that makes it hard for CPA videos to 'stick'.

As for keyword research, I use SENuke because it can give me an overview of the keyword's difficulty level right on the spot. I know that they have a trial version you can check out.

For article submissions, I use UAW. It has a huge list of directories and sites you can submit your articles to.

But if you want to go free, you better stick with the big names like ezinearticles because this brings in the most traffic. Of course, I cannot give you a specific average traffic since it will depend on your keyword and your niche.

Twitter is also a good way to promote CPAs. Continue to try things out until you find the method that will truly work for you.

        Hope I have answered everything,

        Aira

        Hi Steve,

I've used YouTube successfully, but I will admit, my strategy was pur numbers and work and some creativity. I would make sure to create creative headlines and creative copy within the video to get people to visit my site or occasionally I would direct straight to the offer.

Again, I achieved results through pure numbers.

I made a lot, and I stress A LOT of videos!!! mwahaha

and YES, article marketing has a lot of potential. Some people do this full time and have managed to outsource almost all the work!

There is pockets of gold everywhere. Just be a little creative and find one or make your own golden pocket!

As I always say, its not the smart or knowledgeable people making money, its the people who are taking action and hustling.

I would put my money on a newer CPA marketer who is a hustler than somebody with a lot of CPA knowledge that doesnt take a lot of action...any day of the week!

Youtube is great but you need to make a video that goes VIRAL.

Other technique is to BUY a "soon to go viral" video by placing a textlink in the description and inside the video.

    That works like a charm.

    Any questions let me know

    Thanks for the replies.

I "kind of" have an idea of what i should be doing but the reason im asking SO MANY questions, lol - is because i know there are tried and tested methods people have used and refined. So if knowing more means i can be more "efficient" as soon as possible then all the better.

Im just going to charge in and see what happens, if anyone wants to "mentor" a highly motivated individual lol then shoot me a pm. Maybe you can use me as a case study or some sort of experiement, although im not a fan of needles .

I'm curious as to how people are writing (and continue to write) so many articles around CPA offers - I mean, what the heck are you writing about?

The only thing I can think of, is, if you have a free laptop offer, then you would write a review-article about a specific laptop model etc. with your CPA offer in your bio space...then, keep repeating these steps with a different laptop/model-review article etc. - potentially having thousands of different article topics to write about.

I don't know. Maybe someone can shed some light on the matter?
    Thanks.

Regarding video marketing; it is my impression that more and more people are moving away from it these days (although, I could be wrong)...and the people that are turning a worthwhile profit from their efforts are reluctant to provide any case study examples - for obvious reasons - but, more specifically, do not tell you exactly what their video entails and/or how they are actually grabbing the viewer's interest etc.

Some of the IM products that are available for this method leave me questioning whether or not the author is really doing them - let alone, profiting. I have tried video marketing before...so far, I've made a whopping total of about $0.

I'm sure it can be profitable, however, especially if you have an incentive offer that is being used as a content-unlock etc. (e.g. post a short/partial video of a popular television series/episode, direct traffic to your domain for full-viewing of said episode, require completion of survey to view/unlock the episode in it's entirety). However, as airabongco mentioned - these videos are going to be harder to stick. Automation and mass submission is key, I suppose.

My attempts at video marketing were probably not the best (I have not tried the above method).

How profitable video marketing is/can be, remains to be seen - at least, by me.

    Good luck and take care,

    -M

Murderface, what about this tack with laptops....

What would you do with a free laptop?

How I use my laptop to make money, and where you can get a laptop free?

Would you fill out a simple form just to win a laptop?

Why winning a Sony Laptop is better than winning an Apple iPad

That is just off the top of my head. If I sat down and brainstormed I could have a list of over a hundred quickly. The bigger problem is learning how to match phrases people are searching for which can be ranked highly so you get traffic.

I usually start with the keyword phrase, and then brainstorm a couple ideas, and then just write. Then I move on to the next phrase. I want to build an army of articles, not just a small troop.

These same types of ideas can be used to create a YouTube video. You could easily create a video arguing the merits of a laptop over an iPad, and probably tick a lot of people off....which could be very profitable.
