How come we never see CPA offers on commercials?

It's easy for your normal person these days to make a tv commercial through google. How come people aren't doing it? Is it not profitable or is it a little to shady for tv? When I say shady I mean like seeing a commercial to get a free iPhone. I could see where a network would not want that type of stuff showing on their station.

You do see it in one form or another. CASH FOR GOLD was all over cpa networks and all over TV.

much of the time is the advertiser who does it directly, not the publishers like you and I

Try and negotiate a local tv spot and test it!

You are on to something there, Colton. Using Google's service to put your ad on TV is a little know secret, right now. It would take some startup money and a decent enough commercial clip and probably some testing to get right, but I think it's doable. If you do it through Google, the ad can be cheap indeed. I just think so few know about this, and if there's anyone doing it, they are not talking, as far as cpa/affiliate marketers go.

I have thought of doing it myself but got too many things on my plate on the moment. I think the real money could be if you find a good formula to sell it to local businesses and charge a premium. Tell them you can get their commercial on a national broadcast and you will have their attention, I'd guess.

Yea I've always thought about this. I saw a team of people who tested a commercial with google and it was pretty neat. I guess not a whole lot of people do know about this or we would see more and more commercials that weren't as ordinary as the ones we see today. The guys that ran the commercial ran it during re runs of the Glen Beck show and over 1.2 million people saw it and it only cost them around a thousand bucks. I might check into this a little more.
