So the last couple of days I started to see a dip in my earnings.. I was like wtf? So today I signed into all my Youtube accounts one by one (28 in total) 8 of my accounts had been shut down with no warning or nothing! I dont even wanna talk about how many videos I had on each one or I'll start to cry.

Seems like everything Google puts their hands on turns into the military. Always jumping threw hoops when it comes to these A. holes!

It's typical of Google to delete your sh!t and not give you an explanation why. Ohh well back to the drawing board..

yes this is very true. i used to earn 20$-30$ a day on youtube with cpa offers and they closed my business that way. so right now i`m looking for other ways to make money.

man! those was the easy days......

anyway if you really want to bypass then dont include link in the description for a few days.

Were your videos inappropriate in any way? Were they completely 'marketing' videos and/or duplicates?
Did you have any non-CPA videos posted in the mix, so as to look more natural?
Did you have your links in the video, annotation(s) and/or description?

I wonder why they banned your accounts in lieu of slapping your vids?

Of course, I'm sure they would love to push people to use their advertising platform.

    Google blows.
    There, I said it.

What type of videos, were they quality videos or just videos to create affiliate earnings?

I just had my account suspended by YouTube an hour ago. I was all excited because I was starting to promote CPA offers for the first time. What should I do now?

17 May was the last post. Im goign to rush home quickly and reassess all my youtube videos - hopelly none of my accounts have been shut down.

This is down right out of order - Google make so much dammed money what's their problem? Just leave us alone we are doign nothing illegal - there is so much stuff on Youtube that shouldnt be there so why not shut down that stuff instead especially the porn stuff. Are they saying its ok to have stuff like that but not affiliate links etc? it seems so - its total garbage!!!! They are becoming the new Microsoft!!!

I know how you feel, but if it stops people promoting black-hat or scammy CPA offers I think this is a good thing. They dont want youtube to be spammed with garbage videos like the spam posts we see on craigslist or gumtree.

I wasn't promoting any black-hat nor stuff that required a credit card. I was promoting the free ipad offer that pays you per email submit. I had only uploaded two videos to just one account. I wasn't even linking directly to the CPA offer page.

Ive always made very quality video and only promote straight cpa offers that arent like those trial offers that require credit cards. I can see why Youtube/Google would pull those as many people have had nightmare experiences with them. I dont promote them - only straight email submits/sign ups for popular gadgets and games and other offers that I think are of a certain quality etc.

Im curious to know what these people are up to!

If you are going to do video marketing you must actually put effort into the videos.

Many WSO's and courses on the subject actively encourage you to break not only Youtube's ToS but copyright laws as well by telling you to download other peoples videos then re-upload them as your own and use your own links, then spam, spam and spam youtube even more uploading the same video hudreds of times.

    DONT DO THIS!

I am not surprised at all Youtube's bringing down the hammer. Video marketing is the same as article marketing, you muist provide valueble content to he viewer.

I have just spoken to Maxbounty and my affiliate manager said she had seen this problem a lot lately. The Google Bast**ds are cracking down (thats my words not hers) and suggests staying away from Youtube cpa or at least doing it less vigorously.

I have an account with some very high view videos so i have taken off some of the more cpa related ones. I too am linking to my own landing page that direct to the offer page.

My advice would be not to have all your videos on one account - have multiple accounts with maybe one or 2 videos on that ultimately promote an offer. Also diversify your offers.

If my main account gets pulled it gets pulled - there is nothing more i can do

It's just like AdWords. It's not possible for them to analyze each specific case and see if people are promoting scams or legit offers, if they are offering useful content or just promoting a product. So what do they do? Delete the account.

People say that Google hates affiliates, but I don't agree. I'm an affiliate and Google is my best friend now . I use AdWords and hava never had problems with my accounts being slapped or minimum bid going to $5 or $10. And here is why: I have the same purpose as Google! Both of us want to satisfy the user. Google wants to deliver good results for people using their search engine, and I want to offer high quality content for people visiting my website. The perfect combination!

I don't promote CPA offers with YouTube, but since Google owns this website, I think that the rules are pretty much the same. Satisfy the user, offer value, don't simply create videos/sites with the sole purpose of taking people to your website and making some money. Maybe your offer is good, maybe it's just a scam, but Google can't analyze each individual case, so if you are not offering good information your account will be deleted.

So, based on my experience with AdWords, the secret to work with Google is to have the same purpose as them: offer useful information to the user.

Those are certainly some of the best words I've read for a long time. People should print them out and read them before wondering what went wrong with their campaigns. Thanks for the valuable post William.

Actually, some of the videos that were in my YouTube account had very valuable content, lots of comments and high ratings but they still suspended my account. I think YouTube doesn't care whether the content is valuable or not. As long as you're promoting something, they will take it down. This seems to be a new policy though.

Since Google owns YT, chances are that the rules are pretty much the same. Considering this, chances are that you will have problems if you post links pointing directly to the offers or to bridge pages. In this case, posting videos with pointing to a real site, with real content and valuable information should be ok. For AdWords, that's it. Pretty simple. Follow thsi rule and you will never have to face Google's fury.

However, when it comes to YT you may have to deal with another problem. There is a chance that Google won't like to have many videos with links pointing to the same site. It can be a problem, or not. For example, my brother studies history and he has a blog about the II World War. He creates videos and post them on YT with a link pointing to his blog. No problems until now. Of course, there are 2 major differences between his situation and yours. First, he is not promoting CPA offers, his blog is 100% informative and has no commerical purposes. Second, he doesn't use multiple accounts, he has only one account and one channel. So if you have videos on several different account with links pointing to the same site you may have a problem.

Anyway, the "YouTube Slap" seems to be very recent. So I think that the best thing YT marketers can do is wait until Google explains what's happening. Probably, they will give some information (of course, something very unclear, as usual ). Of course, it will hurt your wallet, but there is not too much to be done until we understand what they are planning. If you have other income streams, great! Work on them now and stay away from YT for next days. If YT is your only income source... well, in this case you have put all your eggs in one basket and now you can't run away, G is the boss, not we, so you're going to have to pay the price for your mistake.

I noticed that my YT accounts were getting shutdown fast as I could make them. I think CPALEAD has created a slew of crappy youtube videos and Google decided to run some robot to go ahead and shut everyone they could find down.

It is most likely also that people reported your videos to be spam, that's where they usually target the accounts to be deleted.
