Good morning Warriors!

First time I ventured into this section of the forum. I've been using blogs, member sites, video marketing, article marketing etc as my primary money makers. CPA is new to me, and I wonder if perhaps you could suggest a good primer? (No, not just looking for free resources - happy to pay for quality training/instruction as well)

I did a quick search for past threads, and it seems there is some coaching available as well, even by board members. But most of what I've found seems to lean toward using PPC to drive CPA profits. This is fine and good, but I'd like to get the full picture. Thank you in advance for your recommendations.

    Ah-ha,

Apparently this question has been asked many times before. Please excuse the premature question.

Affiliate Payload has pretty decent information on CPA and various methods to drive traffic. You can check that out at AffiliatePayload.com

      Hey Guys,

I second that Affiliate Payload has good information on CPA and driving traffic
to CPA offers as Delanda mentioned. The book is over 275 pages and isn't fillied
with filler or fluff. It's definitely a good resource on CPA and worth the investment.

I have heard that ClickConsultants.com's private forum and PPC-Coach.com's
membership site are also great resources that mainly focus on Driving traffic to CPA
      offers with PPC.

CPA is Cost Per Action (or Acquisition) as nipit007 had mentioned. It's just another
way you can get paid in Affiliate Marketing. Instead of getting paid per sale, which
is the most widely known form of payment scheme in AM, you can get paid simply
when a visitor that clicks through to a site via your affiliate link, performs the required
      action.

The action could be filling out a lead form, full registration form, or downloading software.
As you can see, you can actually get paid even if the person doesn't buy a product.

      I hope this helps.

I, on the other hand, do only paid traffic, so all your bases are covered between Luke's free traffic and my not free.

CPA is cost per action....Cost Per Action or CPA (sometimes known as Pay Per Action or PPA; also Cost Per Conversion) is an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action - for example, an impression, click, form submit (e.g., contact request, newsletter sign up, registration etc.), double opt-in or sale.
