  • I haven't used it directly as a form of advertising however I did add its codes to one of my sites for a while. I'm uncertain how they are able to target things such as gender given it is just a case of placing code on a website by the publisher. Can you target by keywords or select certain websites?
Or is it advertisement over the whole network?

  • In that case if you do use adbrite its all about where the sponsored ads (i.e your ad) will be placed on the site.

The best place you want your ad to be is within the content of the site, so between two paragraphs of content you are advertising. Make sure this is also within the viewers vision without them having to scroll down.

If you can find an ad placement with these criterion you COULD be onto a winner.

Just to note be careful! Don't let your budget get out of control. This is a content advertisement so expect lower conversions than on the search engine. However it will be much cheaper!

  • It is more a case of choosing.

What I would do is put keywrds in to find websites related to your niche. Then isolate the ones that have the best ad placement on their site .. i.e. where i suggested.

    Hope this helps

  • It depends on what content they are offering. Its probably less about the quality of the website and more about where your ad on the website would be placed.

  • If you believe the website has some valuable content that will be read. If they are going to click straight off it as soon as they see it then no

Personal experience, I dont like adbrite. I think Genrating 2 usd after 3,000 impressions is far less superior than taking a risk of 2usd and generating a lead from 3,000 impressions.

In that case , adsense is far superior than adbrite, give that a try.

Hey I totally agree with what jintv is saying about the 2usd. but I think if you place your adbrite ads correctly, you should have no issue.

I currently use adbrite and it actually generates some good revenue for me. It's all in the placement and with the adbrite system, you can actually choose where you want to put your banners and if you actually want to put your banners.

I use a wordpress theme so I placed the banner in the sidebar and up top in the header. Also I chose to do a full page ad from time to time so that I can get some revenue that way as well. Also I set up in-line text ads which work really well because the general traffic seems to react a lot better to clicking on those text links.

Also if you want to set up multiple networks on your site and but are afraid of cluttering up your site with ads, adbrite has a feature that allows you to display your other network ads in the same allocated banner space that you've given adbrite.

They work on a system that they will display the banner that will pay you the most rather than their own the entire time.

Adbrite offers great variation and quality ads. Have a go at it. You can always remove it if it doesn't work out for you.

      Cheers,
      Aynka
