Hi,

My name is Jean-Francis. I have been building websites for a few years as a hobby, for my companies and friends companies. I've been looking around the web for a few days regarding ppc, cpm... marketing. I remember 3 years ago using youtube as advertisement for Trainn dot org referral program. I've actually been able to get a few 1000$ out of it.

I'm actually astonished by the success of people imply by advertising on personal websites. I want to put more time into my hobby and maybe opt for sideline revenue. I'm not so sure were to start.

I'm wondering what is, up to now, your most successful website type (blog, forum, data, game) that you have build and worked on to get traffic that has been the most profitable. I personally did man websites for companies, learned a bit of php but I'm not sure where I should start with.

I don't think bringing traffic will be a headache as for technique but content is my biggest issue.

Thank you very much in advance for your advice.

Jean-Francis

You sound like the kind of guy who gets a head start in internet marketing because you already know how to build sites and bring traffic. If you're planning on marketing CPA offers you might be relieved to hear that for some types (mainly email/zip submits) you will only have to generate little content if any.

Your best bet is to read this forum. It truly is a gold mine. Good luck.

I get most of my content under the Warriors For Hire section and look for article writers. You can also find great deals for article writing for about .99 per 100 words if you don't have the time to create content yourself....

That's if you want to go for the blog methods for long term free traffic...

    Hi Jean-Francis

The good thing is that content isnt necessarily the hardest part of making money online. Content can be outsourced effectively.

If you can build sites, that is great. If you can generate traffic, that is a million times better. Leverage these skills with CPA marketing and you are good to go.

As for the type of site, in terms of CPA, there is no best site. Some people build review sites successfully, others do blogs or worse flogs. The goal is finding a CPA offer, finding a way to get traffic, and then creating a sales pitch funnel to get those visitors to fulfill the action in whatever way you can!
