Can U.K based people use the U.S. CPA Networks?

I find a lot of CPA networks ask for things like SS#/Corp ID#/ABN

I am unsure if you are UK based you can use the US based CPA networks.

I notice the few that are here in the UK do not have particularly exciting offers to promote.

I'm UK based and use a few CPA networks that are US based, but have worldwide offers.

An example is Max Bounty. You have to have a phone "interview" with them, but it only takes a minute and if you sound confident you should be fine (at least I was!).

Some of these sites ask for a website URL, but supposing you just want to promote their products and do not have a relevant existing website. What can you enter here?

Also the tax stuff is not relevant to UK based people so I am not sure what to enter here either.

It doesn't have to be a relevant website - Max Bounty have hundreds of different types of products to promote - the site I provided to them as an example was a weight loss site.

I've just had a look at my Max Bounty profile and there isn't anything there for tax stuff - can't remember about the application form, but I obviously didn't provide anything tax wise when I signed up.

Yes, you can join any network in the world and you can promote basically any offer you like no matter if it's for the US, UK, Australia or China. On some networks, when you pick a country other than the US, the "SS#/Corp ID#/ABN" goes away. If it doesn't leave it blank and if you can't submit your application form without it contact the network.

I'm from Brazil and work with US CPA networks.

When they ask for SS# I just leave it blank or supply my CPF, which is the equivalent here in Brazil.

I'm based in Australia & use many CPA networks based in the US as well Canada, Europe etc. As stated before most networks will just want to know that you are a real person so they will want to speak to you on the phone. Once you're able to do this, most will accept you.

The other issue you might run into is that when trying to view some of the offers that some international CPA networks run, you might not be able to view it as they only allow traffic from within the geo target. E.g. if the offer is for US only & you are based in the UK, you might not be able to view it which can make it difficult for effective targeting/marketing. The way around this is to use a US proxy (or a proxy for whichever country you are trying to view the offer from).

There are many free proxy services but if you do this constantly, I would recommend subscribing to a service. Just Google US proxy service or UK or whatever location. The sites will also tell you how to use these..

    Good luck!

Do we have to use a proxy to promote US offers from the UK? If so, where could I find out how to use these proxy. I mean how do I promote an offer through the proxy?

Also I recommend subscribing to OfferVault.com where you can view the offers availble from many CPA networks, even from those which you are not signed up with.

OfferVault enables you to select the country and then you can view the offer as if you are in that country. OfferVault is then acting as your proxy to view the offer.

Do any of the UK based affilliates know what the W8 is? Apparently some CPA sites ask for this.

Typically majority of International Affiliates will sign-up with the SSN Blank or with all 0's, typically these accounts just need to be phone verified is all by networks, and a W8 Form is what would be required. As I've seen suggested before, just be professional with your application, and utilize the comments section to even explain how you filled out the SSN field, it definitely wouldn't hurt.
