It depends on your traffic source. PPC, PPV, article marketing... different traffic sources have different conversion rates.

However, the most important thing is not your conversion rate, but your ROI. In order to get a positive ROI you can't consider only your conversion rate, but also your cpc, so if you have a low conversion rate but also a low cpc (it will probably happen if you're working with PPV) you still can make money.

especially without knowing traffic source, offer, keywords, ads, landing page, etc, etc

yeah man, these guys are right, there is no real way to tell until you have some solid intel on your numbers....varys based on alot of things, i will say however i think ppc gives one of the highest conversions, laser targeted.
