The problem I am having is determining two things.

1. Determine whether a CPA offer or Clickbank product converts.
2. Determine if a keyword converts.

How long do you let a PPC campaign run before making inferences? Do you use a time based metric, click based method, or impression based method?

For example, I have some campaigns that ran for 3 days and has 5,000 impressions but only 1 click. I can't determine whether the offer converts because there are not enough clicks and I can't determine whether the keyword is worth exploring because I don't have enough clicks.

What metrics do others use when testing PPC campaigns?
