All depends on the market, the PPV networks you run the ad on, the sites you target, the type of offer you have, etc. etc.

There is not one clear cut answer to your question I'm sorry to say.

Online dating offers are something which will never die and do well with PPV, just make sure you are building a list so that even after they have filled the first offer out and gone, you can re-market to them later on and make even more money.

The best thing to do is test for yourself.

  LeadGen offers work well with PPV... You just need to optimize your targets and you will do well. We have a bunch of guys on our network that do amazing things with PPV traffic.

I don't think PPV work good for weight loss or fitness campaign which require people take action to purchase. I think search still the best, if adwords doesn't work, try bing, yahoo...
PPV usually work good on free registration, like fill the form get the coupon, register to play games in the browser or sign the form get the autralia green card all this kind.

Hey,
actually with PPV you can make a profit with almost any offer if you know how to market it right. Weight loss and all other programs that require a cc are a bit more difficult to convert.

To start out, I would suggest going with lead gen offers. Try first page submit offers that don't require a cc and with a payout higher than $6. They generally tend to be easier to convert.

credit card submit. As a side note, I would add that you should always create a landing page for any credit card submit offers. But, like the others said, the less involved the user is, the better with ppv. It's very rare for someone to be playing an online game, start to log off, then see a pop under advertisement about a weight loss pill, flip out there card and order a free trial. Best bet is with adwords or yahoo for high payout cpa offers, if you can.

Every niche does well on PPV, there are no specific - it just depends on what you want to focus into. Don't bother with email/zip submits though, unless you're looking to get blacklisted from the offers or scrubbed even harder than normal.

well its something like that, list building . but we build the list for advertisers in cpa, , in return cpa network pays us for those leads generated by us. thats how we make money with free offers.

Be careful with some toolbar download offers with ppv. It is against some of the ppv networks terms of service.

Most offers do quite well in ppv. Try offers that you don't need a cc for. Dating, Car Insurance and debt relief do quite well.

These offers might seem to be quite saturated niches but if you think outside the box and target sites that the demographic visits. You will do quite well!

I agree with a lot of the people here, building a list is great using ppv. Now in order to build a list you have to offer something free. So what I'm saying is that to get the most out of ppv you should be offering something free. The best free stuff to give away is one ebooks or software if you're looking to build a list. Secondly if you're looking to make money then try CPA offers that have free giveaways where people only have to submit a zipcode or email address. Things as simple as offering a smileys toolbar for visitors to download works amazingly and you get paid per submit. One thing you have to remember about PPV is that people are interrupted with offers and don't want that interruption while they are trying to surf especially when people are trying to sell something, but are a lot more forgiving when they can get something free. Think about it like you were out on the street and vendors are trying to sale you something compared to vendors on the street giving out free samples.

Good post about PPV. I totally agree with your point that people don't like being interrupted when they are trying to play a game or download or they find it irritating. I know I do. But if there is a good free offer they might consider being interrupted as a good thing.

Im not sure if it actually went through a spinner service but if you have ever used an article spinner they have the same type of words used to replace to original, usually they make little sense and barely say what they are supposed to. Just look at the identical post structure, especially the last 3 sentences.

The 2nd post was the original one, I can't find it but if you look up above you can see the OP quoted it. I just don't want people to take the post seriously and actually think his advice is real, he is just trying to increase his post count. Not that listening to it would hurt that much but following false info is always no good.

After doing this thing for a while it becomes painfully easy to spot spun articles on the web, I hate seeing people with no style try to make something happen and end up just making us all look bad.

Also: LOL at this post, what a great contribution to this forum!

Most of niches work with PPV .

One thing that you need to be aware is to focus on lead gen offers .

It is also important how you design your angle of attack.

I've had the most profitable campaigns in dating, email/zip submits and lead generation (specifically auto insurance and education offers such as colleges). I know that biz ops and weight loss can work well too

Yes virtually every niche works in PPV but some of the best are lead gen, email and zip and rebills.

It's also AMAZING for list building - if you are smart and pop an offer as you are building a list you can break even or make a small profit and essentially build a 100% free targeted list.

This thread has some information for new comers to the CPA and CPC. Cost per click is a method that is intrusive and to make people look at you, it must have something in it for them. If you are looking for his credit card, well I dont think. They would rather switch off the computer.
I agree with you all about lead generation, zip and email submit and trial offers. Yes these are the offers that works well with PPV. Dating works well with any method of advertising.
