Promoting non e-mail CPAs via E-mail Newsletter?

Anyone have any insight on this? Say the affiliate offer does not accept e-mail traffic -- is that only for solo e-mail ads where the subject and body is just one big advertisement? Are you still allowed to contextualize it into your newsletter and send people to your landing page for such an offer?

    If they say no email traffic and they see referrers coming from email programs, you will be burned.

      Yeah.. I'm aware of that. That's why I was asking if it's okay to link to the landing page of the offer in the e-mail and not the actual offer itself.

      Anyone know?

    Rather that lurking in the doubt and possibly being banned, I would simply ask their support to make things clear. Better safe than sorry. They do adhere to their rules!
