Anyone have any success with local newspaper ads?

I talked to my AM this morning, who has approved the use of offline newspaper ads. She did follow up with that saying most offline marketing methods don't pay off. Have any of you tried this method of CPA Marketing, and have you found it to be effective? And if so, what section of the newspaper would you advertise say the Free Apple iPhone 4 offer?

    You know I have always thought about this and don't know why I haven't tried it. I'm sure you would get some conversions but on a low paying offer like the free iphone I don't think you could get close to breaking even.

    Hello AprilM,

    I came out of corporate America three years ago where I did quite a bit of newspaper advertising; however, with online marketing you want a more targeted market. The newspaper is like shooting a shotgun up in the air with the hope you will hit a duck. It is too much focused at non-targeted prospects. I would build a list of very targeted prospects and then market to them. I utilize a FREE training and marketing system that generates between 15 and 20 highly targeted leads a day.
