Affiliate Marketing questions

While researching websites ive noticed most sites sell products directly so people dont need to leave their site to buy the product from the products company site and still recieve commission. Is this hard to do and will there be alot of time maintaining a site like this with new products comming and going?
Also how hard is it to build a site on your own (say a site that sells clothes and accessories) ive read that dreamweaver is (cs5) is a good programe to use it cost alot but i think if i build a site on my own ill have the knowledge to maintain it or make it grow and build other sites.

    If you do not have the technical knowhow don't start off with Dream Weaver.
    Use a CMS (Content Management System) script or site.

    There are specific scripts for running a store (Is this really what you want to do?) however you should also look at Wordpress. Although Wordpress is basically a blooging platform it is so versatile and has so many extensions (many of them free) that it's always a good option to consider.
