Which CPA Networks do you trust?

Hey warriors. As you can tell, this is my first post! After reading these forums for some time now, I finally decided to join the community. Everyone seems so nice and helpful, which I find incredibly rare in most forums these days.

Anyway, I am fairly new to CPA networks and I know their potential if you do it right and never give up if you fail; however, I do have a few concerns about some of these networks. I see a lot of consistently mentioned CPA networks on forums and in internet marketing e-books but how do you know which ones you can really trust?

I've heard nothing but good things about Azoogle, EWANetwork and Neverblue but other networks such as: Clickbooth, Clixgalore, Copeac, MaxBounty and many others have mixed reviews.

Some of the bad things I've heard about range from illegal email spam/scams, not paying on time, phishing, all the way up to possible identify theft (i don't remember which network was allegedly doing this). Are some of the networks really fraudulent or are these issues nothing but misunderstandings/bad experiences blown way out of proportion?

What are the top trusted CPA networks besides Azoogle, EWANetwork and Neverblue? Which networks should I avoid at all costs? I know these are mostly opinion based questions but it will give me a good idea who to sign up for/avoid if I see the same networks consistently mentioned.

Thanks!

What do you guys think about Commission Junction?
I have been looking into doing IM for about 4 years (pretty much browsing through forums) and just now decided to get off my but and do something.
I am already signed up with CJ.com and was wandering if you guys think they are trustworthy and reliable?

      Thanks,
      Jeff

CJ.com has been around for a long long time man. I would say they are definitely trustworthy. Just make sure you send them clean traffic with zero complaints because one thing I have noticed about them - if you so get a complaint about your traffic or traffic source you are gone. They don't even seem to have anybody you can talk to about who, what, why, when, or where. They "no likey" complaints.

          Thanks Brian,

I was going to try and promote with Video Marketing and places such as Craigslist and Backpage, but I keep trying to figure out where it says if I can or cannot. I can't seem to find if they do or don't, and on the individual offers you can promote all I can ever find is the keywords you can or cannot use for PPC and what you can and cannot beat the advertiser on in PPC. But, I can never find a place that says yes or no to places such as CL and BP. If you could help me out that would be great.

          Thank you,
          Jeff.

Personally in my experience you might want to stay away from CL and BP when promoting offers CJ offers. I can almost assure you that if a complaint is filed with CJ in regard to you promoting CJ offers on CL/BP you are going to get the big ol' boot from CJ.

If you are looking to drive traffic from those places you are probably more suited to work with a network you can have a 1 on 1 type relationship with the network owner or your AM at the network. Let them know what you are doing and they should be able to tell you if it's OK.

In a nutshell... Don't drive CL/BP traffic to CJ offers.

Keep in mind that EVERY major network has had bad reviews posted about them and more than likely the negative reviews are from fraudulent publishers who got caught doing something they shouldn't have been doing and now they're trying to ruin the networks reputation.

I can't vouch for Clixgalore but MaxBounty, Clickbooth and Copeac are legitimate and trustworthy networks. As long as you're not doing anything shady/fraudulent, you won't have a problem with them.

That makes a lot of sense. I will read something horribly negative about a network one minute then the next I will read a lot of positive reviews that completely contradict the negative review. Some of the negative reviews really do read like they are written to purposely damage a particular network.

      Thanks again,

There are so many networks out there sometimes it's hard for newer affiliates to get on board with a 'good' network. There are so many people out there running networks nowadays it's like a big "wonderland" of CPA Networks.

Do your research - Check out review sites, google the name of the network, talk to other affiliates, call and talk to the network (ask them questions), and just basically do some due diligence.

I would say a good rule of thumb is to probably get a handful of networks that are considered "quality" and work with them. Each network will usually have different offers. If you have 6-10 networks in your arsenal you will be equipped with enough offers to promote in any niche you want.

And lastly... Please... Please... Please... Don't go with the "easiest" network to get into. Trust me, it might be the difference of getting paid and not getting paid - and nobody likes the latter.

Most CPA networks don't mess around, because they know their reputation is at stake.

I currently am doing much of my volume with Neverblue, and they're my favorite right now. I get weekly payouts from them, but if you don't meet the threshold ($1,000+/week), waiting for your payout can be a pain. I also work with Maxbounty, EliteClicksMedia (just joined them) and EWA.

If you have a choice, I'd go with the most established network that demonstrates professionalism. Is your network run by a few guys who speak to you in "bro speak" and may not be around for long? Or is it a serious operation that knows what they're doing?

Once you start generating revenue, they'll fight for your business, as they should.

Depends on my role within the company...

        As an Affiliate -
A sense of community, contests, variety of offers - LOVE Copeac's list of weekly performers w/ tips...

            Absolutely -
I feel like a sense of community comes from AM involvement and contact. Having AM's reach out make me feel like I'm getting recognition for my work...Which, in turn, builds a sense of community (for me).

For example, when I break a daily record on a network, I love it when an AM acknowledges that accomplishment.

Another example, having contests/parties for affiliates...

Also, I feel like I work 800% harder for Networks/AM's I have met in person - thus adding to my sense of community. Whether I met them on a mini vacation or at a trade show, just having that face to face time makes me feel like I'm working for a tangable business...

            Hope this helps!

Hey JW31. I've worked with various affiliate/CPA networks and generally speaking, haven't had complaints with them. However, every company really does receive bad reviews (most often the quality networks receive bad reviews from scammers/fraudulent affiliates who are angry their account was terminated or whatnot). My suggestion: Do your research on any company that you consider working with. Check resources such as AffiliatePaying. There's lots of honesty on there, with a great community of people who frequent it to spread news of good or bad quality affiliate networks. Also, I'd check places like oDigger and OfferVault before signing up with any network -- make sure they have what you want, then research their reputation!

for me its all about the relationship with the owner of the network. i don't like working with the aff managers.... i want to know that i get paid on time every time.

i've worked with most networks, and i can say they're all good.

the past month i been working with habitat agency and promoting education offers there.... they pay me weekly so im happy there since i dont see fluctuations in my stats (so they're not shaving). Also i know for sure the offers are not brokered from other networks cause the payouts are highest from anywhere else i check.

previously i have worked closely with eadvertising, they're another solid network and azoogle too.

Looking to the future I'd love to join EWA but thats a lot further down the line.. but I feel like everyone wants to be with EWA. WebTraffic2Go has been really good so far.
