Google Adword - Okay with cloaking or iframe?

Can anyone give me advice as to whether or not Google will allow for us to use index.php or iframe to direct people to affiliate links?

I heard so much that iframe is not allowable, cloaking is not permissible. And long affiliate links are ugly, so what is the right practice?

    I normally buy a domain name and set it to redirect to my affiliate link. The redirect does not use an iframe, and looks neat too,

      Jon, that is against terms to use a masked domain name as much as an i frame is, so it is a no go.

      @ the op ? long affiliate link ? is not seen as that is your destination URL not your display URL, as such what is seen is clean.

    I used redirect before I didn't know and got stopped. So, index.php? Can this be allowed

    None of them!!

    If you want to direct link use Yahoo! or Bing, but stay away from Google.

    Google has very hard rules and there is a good chance that you will get slapped if you direct link with them.

    What I do to test offers is to set up campaigns on Yahoo! or Bing and send some traffic directly to the offer (without landing page). Then, if I think that the offer is good and I can turn it into a winner, I set up an entire website for Google (not only a single HTML page) and add the biggest search engine to my traffic sources.

    In my opinion, Google still is the best PPC platform, but you need to be careful when working with them, because they will slap you in a glance if they think that you are not offering their users a nice experience.

      How long will you let things run on Yahoo or Bing, before you make the determination whether or not to switch to Google?

        Instead of trying to directly link to an offer, you are better of getting your own domain ($10 a year).

        Create a squeeze page, blog page or pre-sell about the product service.
        Create a free report or something to capture the email and also provide an option to link directly to the product from your page if they don't sign up.

        Doing this, you are providing value above the product and making your
        page unqiue. This will get you past Google and will also give you a chance
        to build a list. You can then remarket to the lists without additional ad costs.

        If there are several products in a niche, it works well to compare the features and benefits of each of the on one page and provide links to each one so the visitor can pick the one that bests suits them.

    Also - I ask because I recently have had my Adwords account put under review - wondering if this is why. But as i've said - many people I know use iFrames and Adwords with no problems.

      this may help

      Mirror pages: Pages that replicate the look and feel of a parent site; your site should not mirror (be similar or nearly identical in appearance to) your parent company's site or any other advertiser's site. This would include masked domain names.

      It's especially important to feature original content because most ad networks won't show multiple ads directing to identical or similar landing pages at the same time.

    I'd have to agree with what's been said. You don't want to try anything fishy on Adwords.

    Google is one of the largest companies on the web for a reason - they are incredibly smart and always updating their algorithms to seek out low quality pages.

    Don't try to direct link on Google, don't try to cloak on Google unless you know what you are doing and plan on going through many Adwords accounts.

    Don't try to trick Google - just offer a genuinely solid site and add to the users experience and then you can run on Google.

    iframe will most likely give you a low quality score

    Hey

    I used to do a full-screen iframe and direct link to the offer with PPC. Worked perfectly and they allowed it as I was spending a LOT of money. If you spend a lot they will bend the rules for ya.

    But don't waste your time with these offers, you want to do lead-gen by gatheirng the leads yourself with your own forms on your own sites ... and then re-sell them to a merchant directly for a much higher payout.
