Which CPA Networks will place pixels?

15 replies
I know there are many CPA networks to choose from but can anyone list some known networks that will place a tracking pixel for you on their thank you / offer page.

I signed up with one CPA network as I was lead to believe they would place a tracking pixel / Javascript code on the offer/ thank you page; alas they will not do it (for me).

When I sign up with other CPA networks I want to make sure they will provide this service.

    Of course the top one is mine, but the other two are quite streamlined and very good networks to boot.

    Some tracking platforms will allow you to place your own pixels which is a very nice feature because it gives you some assurance your pixel is being placed correctly - because you are the one placing it.

    Other tracking platforms don't allow you to place your pixel, but surely your AM can place the pixel for you - if they don't want to or say they can't place the pixel then something seems funny about that.

    We allow you to place your pixel by yourself. You are welcome to check us out if you want to. Hit me up with any questions you may have.

    I'm not sure about javascript pixels, but I think that any network will place image pixels for you. As Brian said, some of them won't allow you to do it by yourself, but your aff manager will be able to help you.

    All networks allow it - never came across one that didn't. Some systems allow you to place on your own, but your AM needs to enable the feature in your account.

    I know I can place a pixel/url tracking code on the CPA network so I will be more specific and say that is is Javascript code that is used as the tracking pixel and this has to be placed on the offer/thankyou page by the CPA's AM. I have had a reply in another thread from a well-known CPA network and despite being told to do this in a video tutorial, the official reply is the company does not have the expertise to place the javascript code/pixel. This was really saddening as the results shown were showing the clicks down to keyword level which made tracking look a breeze.

    Setting up for tracking keywords in tracking202/prosper202 I read is laborious. Apparanently you can now subscribe to Stats202 for $27 month to make this process much easier.

    For now I will settle for knowing which CPA networks will place the javascript code. I take it that some of you who are successful might see this as potentially givining away your successful campaigns or does javascript code give away less information to the CPA network/advertiser?

      Thanks to all who have responded. The CPA network lets me place what they term a Callback Pixel/URL: and I can do this by enterin the link in the form box. However, this does not allow me to post the following Javascript code:

      <script type="text/javascript">
      <!--//
      syndConversionType = '201';
      syndAccountID = '1074545';
      syndDomain = 'http://r.looksmart.com';
      syndFunnelValue = '100';
      syndDollarValue = '11.50';
      syndConversionTag = '2942';
      //-->
      </script>

      This has to be placed on the thank you page. If you are saying most CPA networks will do this, that is execellent and I will go ahead and join up to another one. I did not want to go through the process of signing up to find that Javascript code for conversion tracking cannot be accepted that is why I wanted to know beforehand.

        You javascript code is actually not supported by most tracking systems...

        HasOffers and LinkTrust won't allow you to place your own JS code. Direct Track actually uses Javascript for their tracking pixel placement with the advertisers, but most Direct Track networks won't allow you to place your own pixels because Direct Track is crappy for actually firing back 'self placed' pixels, so you need to have your AM place them (which is a pain in the butt). I can't remember what HitPath uses, but I think its Javascript, but then again I can't remember if they allow self placement of pixel/code.

        Most tracking systems will support http/s image pixels, http/s iframe pixels, and postback URLs (commonly used in mobile offers).

        I personally prefer using iframe pixels because IMO they are the most consistent. Others might think different, but this is just my thoughts.

          Actually, HasOffers does support adding javascript pixels. You must select "html code" as the pixel type and then enter the javascript in the field provided.

          Let me know if you have any questions on that!

    Every network can.

    If you're being told no, it's because they're lazy.

    Most networks should have no issues placing this for you.

    Just move onto another network if they won't place your pixel.
