EZine Getting Strict on Affiliate Redirect Links to CPA Offer

Got an e-mail from eZine this afternoon. Sharing it with you folks:

Thank you for your submission to EzineArticles.com titled "(Article Title Removed)".

We would like to help you get this article approved but there is an issue which needs to be resolved first.

Your article does not adhere to the following Editorial Guideline, Section 3

Editorial Guidelines For Submitting Quality Articles To EzineArticles.com

We will only accept articles which forward/redirect to an affiliate link from the top-level of a domain name you own. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:

http://your-company-name.com/

...but it would not be permissible to forward to an affiliate link from:

http://your-company-name.com/page.html
http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/
http://your-company-name.com/subdirectory/page.html
http://sub-domain.your-company-name.com/

What do you guys think?

I used direct linking to cpa offers using a re-direct such as http://domainname.com/offer.php

and got approved for few articles. Would you guys suggest putting up a Splash page redirecting to the offer so this ways one can not violate eZine's editorial guidelines or something else?

Just put up a landing page and send them to the offer from there, or buy another domain and direct link.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left!

That's been the rule for a long time, if not always. You've been lucky that you have been able to do it before now. If you want to do a straight re-direct, invest in a bunch of cheap .info domains.

That's how I do it and have never had a article rejected.

Yes, this rule is very old.

Anyway, Tina's advice is good. Just buy cheap domains for 2 or 3 bucks.

This has always been their rule every since I have joined ezinearticles more than 18 months ago. So, it's not "getting strict" or a change a policy, just an example of their lowly paid staff making mistakes in letting the first few you submitted get by in the first place.

    Topic about nothing, really.

This is not new. And it is not really a problem. Just throw in some cheap .info domains and you're set.
