What SSN/Tax Id to use if you are based in the UK?

Hi Warriors,
Im just getting started with CPA marketing. I notice on all the application forms the networks request SSN and or Tax Id. I am a UK citizen. What information do I use here? My N.I number?

As I am just starting out I am applying as an individual, and not a company.

Any advice appreciated. I did a quick search on the forum but couldnt find the answer.

Thanks.

      Hi AnnoyingOrange
When I first submitted my post I couldnt find it, I thought maybe I didnt press the submit button so thats why there are 2 threads. Im new at posting a thread so please bere with me here!

Thanks to everyone else for the advice. I managed to get accepted to the CPA Network just fine. I put N/A in the field where SSN/Tax ID is required. Will fill out a W8 form later.

Hope to incoporate a US LLC in the future if all goes well for me in the world of CPA marketing. One step at a time though

        Hi there,

All you need to enter into that field on your CPA application form is 0123456 or something like that, and that works too, because I am UK based, and I've actually done this with several of them.

And then, after you've been accepted, and before you start promoting any CPA offers, you just need to fill in a W-8BEN form and submit that to them beforehand, so that they can then reclaim your earnings back from the US tax authorities after they have paid you your CPA commissions as a non-US resident (As an international affiliate).

        I hope this helps,

        Regards from Gary Wynder

Legitimate: Register a US company online.
    Fake: Just enter 000-00-0000.

Source: I used to work for a credit card company, and 000 was common for non-US citizens. It should go through.
