Newbie help: CPA affiliate application denied

Hi guys,

I applied to Peerfly last week and finally got a reply today, which I unfortunately found out my application was denied. I've seen Peerfly listed as very newbie-friendly and would appreciate any tips to get into a CPA network.

Though optional, the online application for Peerfly asked for a website. I'm a complete beginner and don't have one. Do you really need a website? Additionally, I was completely honest with my experience level. Should I perhaps tell them I have a little experience?

Any help or tips is greatly appreciated

Yes, definitely tell them you've had some success with dating or some gaming offers. They won't ask much more past that. If anything, say you've had success selling ClickBank e-books.

You don't need a website either. Tell them you plan on direct-linking and having a website isn't relevant to what you are trying to do. Direct link > CPA Offers

Thanks Jeff. I used your advice when I applied to Neverblue. Hopefully I get a favorable outcome this time?

Why is it so determined to get a CPA? Are often difficult to achieve - especially if the site is relatively new. You may also try to offer relevant affiliate Clickbank, Shareasale, Commission Junction, etc. Much easier to start.

    Hi Laurus,

Why did you wait a week? You should contact them the next day. I have been accepted to all the CPA affiliates I applied to. This is all I did:

    • Created Marketing Services Website (Used Joomla, super easy)
    • Called or IMed Rep next day
    • Told them my previous experience
    • Told them how I would generate traffic (I said article and video marketing)

Thanks for your tips. I'll definitely have a better plan the next time I apply. I applied to Neverblue, so I hope I get a better outcome

Most CPA sites ask for a website on application. Thats where i'm struggling to to get a few start up bucks. Also many I have offered do not allow direct linking... all the CPA sites i've seen say something about "Your Website" so I sadly gave up.

They ALL ask for the website in the application. Just talk to them on the phone and tell them you don't use a website because you are direct-linking on Facebook or Plenty of Fish. Trust me, thousands of people do this.

Who doesn't allow direct linking? I have been approved for 14 different networks, and all of them allow direct linking. It's a big part of using PPC, in fact, most don't even use landers on Facebook.

Just CALL them and tell them you're interested in promoting their offers. Tell them you plan to direct-link using Facebook and Plenty of Fish. Tell them you've had some success promoting health offers or dating and want to work your way up to weekly wires.

I know for a fact MaxBounty will accept you if you just follow what I said.

Good in theory, but It will cost me half my bank account to call the united states.
Maybe I'll setup a free blog - I need a website to have cpa offers.. but I need cpa offers to have a website! (As that is what it will be based around)

I have one website but its not IM related (sig), so wont help.

Do a search on the forums, this topic has been discussed hundreds if not thousands of times, the biggest thing is calling them up after and asking them why

Yes, there have been more threads about this than probably anything else. Take a look to the past for some great advice!

Take my advice if you are newbie then you better go with first clickbank, cj etc. after you got some experience then you should try in CPA. And by the way peerfly have gone a bit strict nowadays. Now most of the good networks don't accept newbies those who accept are most of the time scam networks..

I do consider a website very important when submitting your application to serious CPA networks.

Oh, but I just direct link!

So you are not a serious marketer. Of course, there are some campaigns where a landing page isn't necessary, but most of the times you will need one. If you build 5 campaigns 3 or 4 will require a landing page, so I doubt any account manager will believe in you if you say that you direct link 100% of the times and don't have a single landing page to show them.

However, a landing page is not the best type of site to submit to networks. It's much better you have a personal website or blog. See mine: Newest Marketing - Web Marketing & Design. It can be just a simple site explaining what you do or a personal blog where you make posts about internet marketing. Also, make sure that you have an email with your own domain (e.g. yourname at yourdomain dot com).

She's talking about getting approved here, not a full-time business plan. Who says 3 or 4 offers will "absolutely" require a landing page?

I never showed MaxBounty, Copeac, EWA, Neverblue or any of the other networks a landing page. CPA companies aren't like CJ or Pepperjam or Share-a-sale. For those places, yeah I'll agree you need to show a website, it's required.

As I said, landing pages are not the best sites to use when applying for CPA networks. It's much better you have a personal website or blog.

However, if you don't have a personal website it's better you give them at least a link for one of your landing pages or website. I have never seen a serious marketer who has made more than just a couple of bucks with CPA and has never built a landing page. As I said, direct linking is possible sometimes, I myself have campaigns where I direct link, but not having a single website or landing page is something very unlikely for somebody who works with CPA for more than a month.

When I was just starting I got some of my applications denied before I build my first personal site, but after doing this I got a 100% success rate. I'm not saying that a site will guarantee that your applications will get approved, of course not, but it will increase your chances of success a lot.

It's simple. Networks want to work with serious marketers, and serious marketers have at least one site.

Of course, eventually you will get approved without a site, but the chances are always against you if you don't have a single URL to show them.

I'm not saying that's not a good idea. In fact, that's a great idea. I was just simply stating that I never had 1 single url ( website ) when I applied for and was accepted into many different networks. Maybe things are different now and it's tougher..

I will say that having a self "branded" website is probably the best thing you could do for yourself to make yourself look like a professional and you are running a REAL business.

It can happen, if you don't have a site you are not automatically denied. However, your chances of success decrease.

As we know, the OP was not as lucky as you, so it's always better to have a site.
