Applied to Neverblue and trying to call them today.

Hi guys,

I'm a complete newbie to the internet marketing biz. I applied to Neverblue yesterday and tried to make a follow up phone call like many on WF suggest to do when applying to a CPA network, but I can't get anyone on the phone. They only say to leave a message if your application has been denied and you think it should be reconsidered.

At this point, my application is still pending. However, I fudged a little on the application by stating I had 6-12 months of affiliate marketing by using primarily direct linking. I also stated on the application that I work with 4 other individuals that has years of CPA marketing experience.

I guess all I can do is wait since I can't get anyone from Neverblue on the phone.

thanks

Neverblue is if not one of the best networks, they do take time to go through all their applications. I am with Neverblue and can guarantee they will get back to you, I am not sure what the results are going to be. If you don't here anything let me know and will have a word with my AM.

I did, but all I get is the option to leave a voicemail if you feel your rejected application should be reconsidered.

I wouldn't suggest fudging at all on your application. Just be honest with everything. There are plenty of networks that will accept 100% newbies. Not a good habit start with CPA. Just my .02.

Good luck with your CPA endeavors tho and make sure to ask tons of questions on here! This is the best source around!

Thanks Sean. I think I'll target the 100% newbie friendly networks like you mentioned.

I'm just so anxious to start

Just leave their a message saying that you would like to speed up the approval process. If you are interested in a particular offer that they are running also mention this. They should get back to you soon.

When I applied to NB I didn't even call them, just waited. I think that about 2 weeks later they called me and I was approved. Of course, things may have changed a lot after several months, but be patient and chances are that they will call you soon.

Thanks William. Did you have extensive affiliate marketing experience before you started promoting CPAs?

When applying to any network the best bet is just to be honest. When we are vetting our affiliates, and we get the feeling that we are having the wool pulled over our eyes we usually deny that affiliate.

As a new affiliate you should not feel embarrassed or ashamed to apply for a network or to admit to an AM that you are new. If anything, this helps an AM to assess what your needs will be and recommend campaigns that are going to fit your budget and level of expertise.

If your having trouble being accepted, just phone and leave a message. You can even try using linked-in to find one of there affiliate managers and contact them directly.

Excellent point OJQjeff. Nobody should be embarrassed of their experience level. Affiliate marketing is generally done in stepping stones, and lots of networks will be more than happy to help you up the stairs!
