Marketing Offline Financial Offers Online?
I was reading my local newspaper this week and noticed an article about a new tax and loan service that had recently opened. The article mentioned that they offer $20 for each person that is referred to them. Needless to say, I rushed down and met with the manager right away and verified that I would be able to market their offer online.
My plan is based on a post by StevenR in the War Room and goes something like this:
1) Create simple landing page offering a free loan consultation certificate worth X dollars. In order to get this, the prospect completes a form with name, address, phone number and email. (Double opt in of course!)
2) Drive traffic to landing page via targeted ppc.
3) Prospect completes the form and gets the certificate in the mail.
4) The lead eventually cashes in the certificate and creates a profit for myself by becoming a customer of the loan service.
My big question is this: Has anyone here tried something similar before? And if so, are there any hidden pitfalls that I might be overlooking?
