I just realized, who are the CPA gurus?

Out of all the internet IM gurus I bump into, get emails from, hear about on a daily bases, other than Carlos and Lupe, I don't know who any of the CPA gurus are? They are probably quietly making a very good living and not rocking the boat, lol, good on them.
So ... who would be the top ten CPA gurus?

I wouldn't even consider Carlos and Lupe CPA gurus per se (they focus more on Media Buys and advertising IMHO and don't really go much into the actual CPA process), some of the really hard core CPA guys include Amish Shah, Gauher Chaudhry, Matt Trainer and Aymen (I don't think he's ever revealed his last name).

Guru's in the IM world are normally the people who come out wth big products related to whatever they are a "guru" of, not necessarily the people who know the most or earn the most. In the CPA world, much of the people I know that make the most money purely from CPA are very much underground and just simply aren't interested in coming out with a million dollar launch. In fact, at least from my experience, they are very modest and unless you really knew them, you wouldnt know they were raking in some serious dough every single day.

So are the above marketers the top earners in CPA...no...but I would agree they would be considered the "gurus" of CPA.

There are lot of guru's out there. I am following the cpa business by subscribing to all the major gurus with a specially made email adress.
The 3 guru's I mentioned are guys who are giving free valuable information from time to time. I learned a lot from them without buying any of there courses.
I've seen the campaigns they runned and they made a lot of money.

FYI, Carlos & Lupe own a CPA Network called Converting Offers. I spoke to them not long ago.

Yes, the point I was trying to make is that the Gurus are normally the marketers that have big products, and thats why they pimp themselves up as Gurus and thats why everybody perceives them as Gurus. I was trying to say that Gurus dont necessarily make the most money, they are just the most "public" of the CPA marketers...presumably for their product creation strategy.

And for the most part, they all give out free info and screenshots as part of this strategy to eventually sell their (or other peoples) products in the future.

Its not a bad strategy and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it!

The "guru's" who promote how much they make 90% of the time either had one lucky campaigns or make more pretending they made a lot in the past.

Those really banking dont visit forums or tell others what they are doing.

My bet is that most superaffiliates have been on these forums numerous times and visit regularly...some post, some dont, but ask anybody who does big numbers and my bet is that they have logged into this site plenty of times!!

And as far as product creators...some of them do make a killing. Just because you are making a killing doesnt mean doing a high 6 or low 7 figure launch is a bad business decision. Not only is the money good, but helps establish yourself in the industry and meet others to mastermind with.

At the end of the day, there are plenty of people banking huge with CPA...some create product, some dont, some join mastermind groups and attend seminars, some sit in their basements and never see the light of day. All kinds of ways to make a pretty penny online!

Forget all these "so called" gurus. If you keep listening to any of them you'll just get nowhere.

The #1 Guru in my mind, his/her name is > FAILURE

Failure always teaches you what NOT to do. If you keep failing, eventually something will go right.

Completely agree. You learn more from testing and failing then you ever will buying courses.

That said - there are some courses (like Kenster's) that are great for someone to get started with. The big thing is not getting pulled into the hype of every new email that hits your inbox. Pick a method, find some basic training on it and test test test.

        Absolutely!

Mr. Willnot Fail is my Guru :p

Sometimes my tests dont work out and I learn a lot as Jeff says but I personally view this as a success not a failure...I successfully learned what not to do! To me, failure can only be achieved if one doesnt try ones hardest and give it ones all. And I dont like to fail so I try my hardest in everything I pursue!
