Unprofessional CPA Networks

I my be wrong for doing this and some of you may flame me for doing it, but am going to speak my mind anyway, I am tired of applying for CPA Networks and some of them Not responding back to me at all. I applied to EWA along with blamads which look like it is associated with EWA or is the same as them and I have yet to hear back from any of them, which now has been over a week. I think that since I took out time to apply to their network, They should have common courtesy to the very least decline me instead of not responding at all.

Chances are that they will get back to you, but it may take a bit long. There is a lot of work to be done by the account managers and they can't review and accept/decline all the applications quickly.

If you want to get approved fast I suggest you to call them.

dwells - It could be a lot of things and I can speak for EWA but we have a thorough pre-screening process that doesn't involve contacting the publisher. If the applicant doesn't pass the pre-screening then we just deny them and move on. We don't contact the applicant to let them know they have been denied.

We do however have some denied applicants contact us and we will talk with them (we don't disclose why they didn't pass the pre-screening). We will chat with them to feel them out in regard to who they are, their experience level, what they are looking for, etc.

I would say your best bet is to reach out to EWA and follow up with the application. Pick up the phone and give them a ring. It could be a ton of different reasons why they have not contacted you and surely if you give them a ring you can find out where the hangup is.

Yeah, I have heard nothing but good things about the network, so I dont think its intentional, its probably just part of the process. Networks get 100+ sometimes many more applications a day and need to screen properly to prevent a lot of the garbage that goes on. I would wait a bit longer before drawing any conclusions.

But I do understand the frustrations of applying to networks. There is only one group of people we can blame for that...of which the word gets bluefarted on here :p

Also remember there are plenty of fish in the CPA network sea!

I expect that since, I took time to fill out the app. I think it nothing but fair to aleast send an email to let them know that your application was denied. I think that more than fair. I mistankenly been filling out apps with my live address instead of my domain email and I think that was a huge mistake.

Most networks receive hundreds of applicants a day, i wouldn't say it's unprofessional for them not to get back to you within a week.. have you tried calling them up? ultimately it is the affiliates responsibility for follow-up, if you do not take the initiative then of course it's likely you will be over-looked.

Remember, this is your business, if you are sitting back waiting for others to make all the moves for you, chances are you will have problems succeeding.

Every time you apply to any CPA network phone them. They will pull your application to the top of the pile and many will approve you right on the phone. I have done it many times and only once it didn't work.

Nothing pisses me off more than applying to a network and not even getting a response.

A couple tips for you guys:

    1) Networks get so many applications on a daily basis that it sometimes takes a bit to go through them all. If you are eager to start working with a network, fill out an application and then pick up the phone. Calling after you submitted your application will only strengthen your app, and chances of getting accepted with the network.

    2) Most networks try to call/email/IM pending affiliates a few times before making a decision on whether or not to approve or deny an affiliate. Most legit networks will not just blindly accept new affiliates to their network without hearing from them first. If you pick up the phone and speak with an actual affiliate manager, again, this would only help your request to get approved. If you don't call back / email back / respond back via IM, you will likely get denied.

    3) If you do get denied, you may not even know it if your email provider blocks the email message coming from the network you applied for. If you feel wrongly denied, again, pick up the phone and try to speak with an affiliate manager to see why you were denied, and what you could possibly do to get your application looked at again for potential approval.

Communication is key. If you have any further questions on the application processes from networks, or tips on what you could do to get a faster response time from networks, feel free to hit me up.

Best of luck to you guys!

Its an interesting relationship Networks have with affiliates and prospective affiliates.

Networks get many applications and of course many of them are garbage or fraud. So they normally can't/don't want to/doesn't make sense for them to give every single application as much attention as they should get.

With that said, once you do belong to the network and start pushing traffic, of course you will get more attention etc. This isnt different from any business. If you guys have money in a brokerage account, I can promise you when the market crashes, unless you are one of the top accounts of your broker, you wont be getting a call and will probably get the busy signal if you try calling in. Its all about resources. Does your financial advisor want to help all 300 of their clients, absolutely YES, but when resources are limited such as a market crash and now there are 2 brokers trying to take on 300 phone calls, of course the brokers will pick their top accounts to pay attention to. Any business works like that and its the same with CPA networks.

Luckily there are hundreds of networks so I wouldnt take ti to heart, just move on and you will eventually get somebody who responds to you!

Other networks may approve quickly, we don't. Good things take time - it's nothing personal against you but we have a very very strict vetting process that we go about to handle affiliates coming into networks.

You're not approved, you're not declined, it's just pending. We are going as fast as we possibly can to work through the applicatons and give everyone a chance.

EWA at this time is not approving applications, we will resume at the end of the month. We want to make sure that every affiliate gets taken care of and we need staffing to be able to do that. If we accept people into our networks, it's our responsibility to provide the best service possible to them - if we don't have the staffing to do so then we essentially lose the lead either way.

If you wish to expedite your applications, contact:
    approvals@eaglewebassets.com (EWA)
    new@blamads.com (BLAM)

People that have personal referrals inside of EWA or BLAM get expedited.
