I have accounts with many networks, but I'm working with just a few ones now. It's good to join several networks to have more options, but I think that you don't need more than 2 or 3 good networks to start making serious money with CPA.

I would recommend you maximum 3 cpa networks. There are really a lot of opps but many of them have the same offers.

It's never a bad idea to be in multiple networks. When I was an affiliate full time I stuck between a few major networks - but I have accounts at quite a few. The networks I worked with changed throughout the years and I never would have made some of the connections I did if I wasn't in all those extra networks.

I think I have accounts with at least 50. I run traffic to about 30 of them on my incentive websites and another 5-6 networks with my emailing.

I usually drive traffic directly to around 3-5 at any one time but they can switch around sometimes.

Back when I was an affiliate I was working with about 10-12 different networks. Pushing some traffic to a particular offer or 2 in each network (otherwise I had no use for an account there). However, most of my traffic was going to 2 networks.

I am in around 10 networks but I really only use 3 of them. Some networks are better for certain offers. If you are big into email submits, you may want to be in a different network than if your big into financial offers. Might as well sign up for a bunch and see what you like best.

It's definitely best to split test different offers on different networks. For whatever reason, some networks just have a higher EPC (regardless of payout), should you should always be testing to figure out how to maximize your earnings per click.

I'm in a few too many networks -- I get a lot of emails from networks that I don't even use, as well as correspondence from affiliate managers trying to lure me back.

Right now, I do most of my volume with just 2 networks. I get weekly payouts with them both (and I belong to a third network that also pays weekly).

It would take a lot for me to switch from these networks, especially cause weekly payouts are important to me (I know most networks will offer weeklies, but it usually takes a month or so before they'll do it).

You really don't need to join many networks, most of the smaller networks just end up working with the bigger ones.

I recommend joining about 12 networks that you have done your homework on and you have a gut feeling they are 'good networks.' Once you have those under your belt sift through the offers, the payouts, talk to your AM, and get yourself familiar with the network, their practices, level of knowledge they have, and overall 'feeling' of the networks. Once you have that narrow down your networks to 4-5 and work with them. Build lasting relationships and go from there.

You will find different networks have different offers. You will also find a lot of other variables that may or may not want you to proceed with working with the network.

      ^^ Hope that helps!

A handful of networks is always good. Split testing similar offers or having a few options per vertical is the way to go.

MB are imo the best network out there. The owner Steve, posts here sometimes. My best advice is just be totally honest with them and try to get someone on the phone. They are not just approving super affiliates, they are willing to approve people who are sincere and come across like they are willing to put in the effort it takes to benefit both you and them. Just be honest.
        Worked for me.

Answer their call when they call you. They WILL call you. One of the only places I've seen that goes out of their way to keep in touch with affiliates, successful or not. Copeac is really good about that stuff too.
