$1 is enough if you are incredibly lucky!!

In all seriousness, with any kind of paid advertising, $100 wont get you far at all. Possible, absolutely. Likely, probably not. Hate to be negative here, but you will be getting against the odds with $100.

If you try testing some ppv stuff you might only have to pay 1 cent a click, but that doesn't mean you will find a profitable campaign. If you are trying to test the social media waters my advice would be to get $100 worth of recommended reading material and go from there. Rome wasn't built in a day

you can trust me when I say I read more than $100 worth of e-books on face book ads. I have taken every cores and read every e-book done by the whose who in social marketing. I guess Im just not sure in my self.

    In a word? Maybe.

But I dont know what markets you're in, how good you are with targeting, how creative you are, etc. etc.

It depends on many factors. If you do everything right it is possible... like picking a relatively easy vertical, talking to your affiliate manager to choose the offers, track everything, etc...

However, I still recommend you to make a better budget to get started with Facebook. Although it's possible, odds are against you if you have just a hundred bucks.

That's not incredibly exciting to hear... I've tried facebook out a bit now with little luck, no sales yet though.
The campaign I'm currently on I chose due to a 7 day free trial, used alexa and quantcast to determine the demographics and used google insights to find out what countries are searching most highly for that particular search term (ie. toothpaste whitening) and then used all of that to create a campaign in Facebook.

I was hoping to see some great results, but haven't yet. Over 150 thousand impressions, 50+ clicks but no signups. UGH... luckily my average cpc is 10 cents.

Try something easier than teeth whitening on Facebook. Many of those offers are very sketchy, and if it's a rebill, chances are you won't get too many conversions. Users on social sites generally like 100% FREE offers. It's very tricky to get rebills to work, if ever.
