PPV Budget Requirements?

Hey Guys,

I understand TrafficVance requires a $1000 admissions or entrance fee before using their PPV platform. I was wondering if you guys had a small list of top PPV networks without a entrance fee to choose from.

Also I am willing to spend $300-$500/month on a PPV campaign, however I am hearing this is too small of a budget for PPV. What do you guys think is a budget minimum or requirement before jumping into PPV traffic?

I would say $2,000 is a good starting point or testing budget rather. To be honest you will probably blow through the $2,000 pretty quickly and there is no guarantee you will find a profitable campaign with that budget. I would say $2,000 is good testing money to pick a vertical that does well with PPV and try to find a few targets you can make some money from.

One thing that I will say is "PPV isn't for the faint at heart!" Open your wallet and say aaaaahhhhhhh.

Ya dude PPV can eat up that money quick. If you can really afford to test then you can be profitable. It's not near as hard as PPC IMO. Course I really hate PPC

I recommend you sign up to directcpv. You'll only need a minimum budget of $100. Great site. I use it myself.

MediaTraffic.com you can get started for 200 initial deposit. I've been hearing complaints about directcpv, no offense mars.

You need money to make money, and PPV is not an easy niche to get started with a little budget. Try Plenty of Fish!

I wouldn't worry much about your budget, just get in there testing. $300-500 is ok to start

I think that $500-1000 is an acceptable place to start in PPV.

If you focus on lower payout offers (zip/email submits, dating etc), you can actually test campaigns for as little as $20-30 to find winners.

But then of course if you do find winners, you want to scale them so you're going to have to have the cash to fund this.

I love PPV, I recommend Lead Impact and Direct CPV to start. I must warn you, Lead Impact is very very very slow about approving campaigns.

To be frank nowadays I am hearing more of these ppv scams. Its just their business model that make it so easy to scam. But in case of ppc there is very little or almost no chance of getting scammed specially with companies like Adwords but unfortunately most of them hate Affiliates.

PPV it's a great method to increase your income on autopilot... once you have some money to spend.

      Hey,

This is not true at all. Not sure you are doing PPV but there isn't any autopilot biz, esp. not in the beginning.

Budget? Even the $200 can be a starting point IF you know how to track your results. That's the #1 thing you have to have under control. The faster you can reinvest your money, the sooner you will see results to scale your campaigns.

So, don't think too much, just start somewhere and get it going.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,

$500-$1000 is good to start with ppv. Stay away from direct cpv.

I only recommend two PPV networks: LeadImpact and Trafficvance. The rest of the networks haven't delivered good traffic in my experience. Since you only have $300-$400, I would go with LeadImpact.

Many PPV marketers have different techniques to determine how much they spend per offer.

In my opinion, on most offers you would only have to test with 2-3x the payout. So for example, on a $5 offer, you would only have to spend $10-$15 to test it.

Be warned that on the first few days, one or two targets might suck up all of your budget really fast. You need to weed out non-converting targets, so you might lose money the first few days.

If the offer doesn't convert, drop it and move on to another offer. When you're more advanced, you can spend more per offer to test.

It is *VERY IMPORTANT* that you track when doing PPV. Use either Prosper 202 (free, but limited) or CPV Lab (absolutely awesome).

    Good luck!

PPV/CPV is a great method but you need to know what your doing and have $500 min to test.

nice budget to start off with.

When finance allows, go through these networks in my preference order:

    1) TV
    2) LI
    3) MT

    all the best!

    Hi,

Id love to try PPV and I was going to go with Direct CPV - mostly since its got a low starting point - what exactly are the problems you guys have been having with it - please can you expand??

Whoever is successful with it - do you target ONE URL - say apple.com if you have a win a free macbook air offer - for example - or do you use generic offers - ie ringtones, luvcrush etc - in which case would you target something like facebook.com - LOL info overload...

Any tips would be greatly appreciated :-) Thanks in advance :-) And if anyone wants to PM me - I can help you with audio and music type stuff amongst other things.. :-)

Their traffic is generally VERY poor quality compared to the other networks which means less conversions and 10x the effort to make profitable campaigns.

I would suggest starting out on Lead Impact they have a $200 minimum and their traffic is much better (especially international).
